Michael Jackson’s “A Place With No Name” Video Features Rare Archival Footage – Pitchfork

Michael Jackson’s posthumous album Xscape featured “A Place With No Name”—Jackson’s rewrite of America’s “A Horse With No Name”. That track now has a new music video directed by Samuel Bayer (Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, Blind Melon’s “No Rain”). In addition to clips of two people dancing, this one features some rare behind-the-scenes and outtake footage shot during production of his 1991 “In the Closet” video.
