Michael Jackson meets Fred Astaire at The Tonight Show in 1975

Michael meeting actor and legendary dancer Fred Astaire on the set of the late-night TV show The Tonight Show in 1975. Astaire years later told Michael of his Motown 25 anniversary appearance where he debuted his “Moonwalk” dance: “You’re a hell of a mover. Man, you really put them on their asses last night.” Michael says it was the greatest compliment he ever received.
