Michael’s song “This Is It” premiered this week in 2009. It gave him his 36th Grammy nomination, for the 2011 Grammys’ Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category. MTV remarked on Michael’s work saying it carries “breathless, effortless phrasing, the lean-yet-heavy falsetto, the hint of gravel (and gravitas), the soaring choruses.” Listen now:
