This is the e mail that was just sent to me by Opus Media.

Thank you for pointing this out...I have forwarded this on to my
colleague who handles the website. The Opus is supposed to come with ONE
glove only. I am pretty sure this is because MJ originally used one
glove, so we have only devised one glove for this particular Opus. All
other Opus titles come with two.

The OR card will be sent separately in early 2010. This is being
specially devised and will be sent to each and every single Opus
customer.

The one glove does make sense. Not sweating it at all. Most important thing is that the book arrived in pristine condition and IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!! AMAZING! Just like Michael. I can wait till next year for the card. Patience is a virtue. I think their trying to perfect this before they send it out. Just putting the book together takes a looong time.

I received my Opus today. It is the most beautiful book ever. So many pictures of Michael that I have never seen. Also, it is filled with art that was done for Michael. This book is a wonderful tribute to the man who has touched all our hearts. Thank you Michael.

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! I just received it. I have to go to work, so I only looked at the first 20 pages or so and skimmed through it. It's amazing!!! So many photos that have never been seen before. I'm still crying from looking at giant photos of our beautiful Michael.

It took me quite a while to open it. It's packed very well. It's soooo heavy. Even the red outer cover, with a drawing of Michael on his toes, is beautiful. I only wish Michael could see it. What an amazing tribute to an amazing man. *tears*

I'll add that if anyone is hesitating, don't!! It's a once-in-a-lifetime book about a once-in-a-lifetime person.

I see some are complaining about receiving one glove. That didn't even bother me. If I want, I'll buy another glove. It's not big deal. And I can wait for the media card. The main thing is the BOOK!!! And what a BOOK it is!!

mjsoulseeker, I live in the New York City area. I hope yours comes soon. From what I hear, their customer service isn't all that good. I received the e-mail that others have gotten telling me that it will arrive before Christmas. I never received a follow-up e-mail saying that it went out. And today (Thurs.) I received the Opus.

i received my OPUS last night. here i am 24 yo and you would have thought that i was a little kid opening up a christmas present for the very first time. I LOVE IT!! i couldn't put it down. the OPUS is heavy as hell, by the way. i haven't read the whole OPUS yet cuz i was so fascinated with the pics, which A LOT i haven't seen b4. for some reason while i was scanning through the OPUS, i felt all warm inside. it was such a weird feeling. each turn of the page, i felt myself getting warmer and warmer. i swear (and i don't like swearing) Mike's spirit was all up in that OPUS. i really, really miss him and this OPUS just made me appreciate him not just as an entertainer, but as a human being. look, i'm a dude, but my emotions got the best of me on that last page and i cried because of how meaningful it was (i can't explain art... so i'll leave it at that). this has to be THE BEST most VISUALLY CAPTIVATING book ever published on our KING. kudosx100 million+ to everyone who was behind, in front and all aroud making this MASTERPIECE OF A BOOK. you all have really captured what is the true essence of MJ, who he really was and what he stood for: L-O-V-E.

Granted I know that the book will be cheaper at BNN but If people get the book there how will they have access to the Opus Reality Card and how will they be issued a code since they did not purchase it directly from Opus Media.And Opus also said that the only people who woll be getting the e mail and code next year will be for those people who ordered the Opus through them. And it does not state anywhere on the BNN website about the book having a glove and the card. Hmmm. I think ordering it from here or Opus would be better and the money also will benefit Michael's kids, mother and to his charities. It serves a good purpose.

I pre-ordered mine through Ticketmaster on August 15th, because at that time it was the ONLY place to order it. I have yet to receive mine either and am tired of waiting. I have even been posting blog entries since day one to help promote the book on my blog ( http://calimjfan.blogspot.com/search?q=opus )

Opus is responsible for dealing with their vendors, since they were the ones who contracted with Ticketmaster to offer the deal. I refuse to re-order the book at a higher price when it was advertised repeatedly everywhere that Ticketmaster was the only source to purchase the Opus. The advertisment said the book would ship December 7th-- then a delay due to weather and customs changed the date to December 18th. Here it is the 19th, and seeing your comment that someone who purchased it on December 5th already has theirs, makes me furious as well!

SONY/ KRAKEN OPUS/ TICKETMASTER-- Since you have been advertising and pushing Michael's fans to purchase this book, how about some CUSTOMER SERVICE and get those who paid for the book back in August, giving you upfront capital to continue to make this masterpiece book!

Kraken Opus--YOU deal with Ticketmaster and get this resolved. WE WANT OUR BOOKS NOW! This is not the way to preserve Michael's legacy by providing substandard service in the name of this legandary icon. You have plans to make future books in Michael's name, and should you wish repeat business from us, your customers, you need to FIX THIS NOW!
