I would have given it five stars if it did not have so many remixs on it. It is a really good CD anyways.

This album is definitely a jewel in the library of Michael Jackson’s music. After reading several reviews on this album, many radio DJ’s called it one of the best remix albums ever produced. Because it was released during a turbulent time in Michael’s life this album probably got overlooked. I bought the CD “Blood on the Dance Floor” and heard for myself what this hidden jewel of Michael Jackson’s music was all about. The title song “Blood on the Dance Floor” could be one of Michael’s best songs in his whole collection. The rhythm and musical drive in Ghosts, Money, and the History remix are mesmerizing. As with most of Michael Jackson’s music, I hear something new in the music each time I listen to it. It is no different with this album. It is amazing how he was able to manipulate sounds that draw us into his music. Be prepared to get up and move while listening to this CD. I definitely recommend adding this one to your collection.

One of the best remix albums of all time! I was 17 when this album came into my owning, and I still play it alot today. The title track is awesome(with Mike in his read leather as the blood on the dance floor itself).
The remixes really get you dancing and there are songs never heard of too on the album such as GHOST,MORPHINE,and SUPERFLY SISTER.
The later I over-played. Laughing out loud

I think dat dhis is MJ worst album. Im not sayin it is bad ( one of his albums has 2 b his worst, dey cant all be his best.) I love 'Blood On The Dance Floor, Ghosts, Morphine, and Superfly Sister' they are all unique, and creative. The only thing dat dissapoints me is dat over half da album is remixes of songs he already put out with the history album. I think he should've went ahead and made a completely new album becuz da first 5 songs are great but its jus all of those pointless remixes (the songs were already incredible.) The brightest spot of dhis album is da song Superfly Sister, u can hear da joy and the youth he used 2 have in his early songs, it wuz very refreshing 2 hear him lyke dat again. Vocally, i think it iz one of Mj's best (a very huge statement. i kno.) Blood On The Dance Floor could've been an greater album, he put alot of his anger and emotions into da first 5 songs and if he would've made an completely new album he could've made an album dat would be his most passionate, unique, and most emotional, but instead we have an 'remixed' album but it dont matter becuz MJ is still KING! R.I.P.

I jusat love this video and the song. And Michael was so real and SEXY in it. I play the video so much, my kids would like for me to give it a rest. But I never will. I miss you so much Michae, not just your music, but that sexy melting smile of yours and your voice. This was a great piece of work.
Thank you love.

An album by MJ that has been almost completely forgotten. It shouldn't be, the title song "Blood on the Dancefloor" has a sinister yet luring and seductive( just like the song is about) beat to it. It make's you want to dance the night away, and get lucky later on. It's a song that tell's a story of a seductive murderess on a night prowl in a nightclub. Then there is "Morphine", I think towards the end of Michael's life cut short, this song had been lived by him.
The song itself is about the pain-killer morphine, of which Michael had a small does of before his untimely death.
Overall though the most popular song is "Ghosts", which was accompanied by a video that cam out on VHS and DVD. This song is as you may have guessed a song about ghost's most probably haunting Michael. These songs' are very special one's however the remixes don't live up to the original songs' they once were and aren't very relaxing, or interesting. The album is always worth listening too, and it is a part of the man's HIStory!

not the album I thought it would be. Sad thought it would be the original songs, not remixes. some of the songs r okay in remix, like 2 bad, and history, but all the others in mix aren't what they should be. Earth song is supposed to be soft, but it's not in the mix. Sad kind of dissapointed.

This album can have to meanings: 1 is that his so tired of being acused of being a drugadict (listen to Morphine) it says it loud and clear. 2 it could be a cry out for help, cause of the demons he fight wthin himself (Listen to Ghost and Morhine). His lyricks have allways been a way to express himself, since he had nobody to trust and talk to, and it has to come out somehow. The Ghost Video (Long Version) blows me away, its brilliant and way better than Thriller. So nomather what everybody says he beat Thriller with GHOST its MUST HAVE and WATCH.

Pretty good album. I liked invincible better than this one. Fave songs on this album are "Ghosts" and "Morphine." Not to mention, the music video for "Ghosts" is out of this world.

Love it.

Everyone should listen carefully the lyrics of Morphine...He is trying to tell us something, but the world ignored him. It's sad.

This album offers different songs and they are great - typical for Michael.
The first five songs are incredibly beautiful. Morphine, Is It Scary, Ghosts, Blood On The Dance Floor... marvellous. I love them.
Stranger In Moscow - in every tone I feel Michael's LONELINESS (my favourite)
I must add Earth Song and You Are Not Alone

What can I say, this album is awesome. I LOVE the title track, Ghost, Is it Scary and Morphine. These are absolute MJ favorites of mine. I could listen to them 24/7 and not get tired of them. As for the remixes, I've never been a big fan of remixes, but these are great.
