RIP Burt Bacharach. One of America’s greatest songwriters whose beautiful, innovative melodies will be remembered and studied for generations to come. Burt was responsible for dozens of hits including “Walk on By,” “Alfie,” “I Say A Little Prayer,” “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head” and, of course, “That’s What Friends Are For,” that became the soundtrack to so many lives. His collaboration with lyricist Hal David and the iconic Dionne Warwick was one of the most successful creative partnerships of all time. Sending thoughts are prayers to Burt’s family during this difficult time.
