Michael Jackson’s “Little Susie” Taps Michael’s Love Of Classical Music

Michael Jackson in his book Moonwalk wrote: “I love classical music. I’m crazy about Debussy. Copland is one of my all-time favorite composers. I listen to a lot of Tchaikovsky.” On the HIStory album, Michael tapped into this passion for classical music by adding the choral hymn “Pie Jesu” by French composer Maurice Duruflé, into the beginning of the haunting track “Little Susie”.
