The project was initiated by teacher (and obviously fan of Michael Jackson) Paul Smidt from elementary school ‘t Schöppert in Hengelo, The Netherlands. Paul has organised this MJ event in his home town since 2009. The event was to raise funds for the charity “The Ronald McDonald House” and to share the message of peace created by Michael Jackson.
