RIP Jim Brown. One of the greatest athletes of the 20th Century, Brown used his celebrity to become a prominent voice during the civil rights movement. Brown stood alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the fight for equality and worked tirelessly on behalf of Muhammad Ali during his legal battles. Brown later selflessly devoted his efforts to helping street gang members and former prisoners turn their lives around through his Amer-I-Can Foundation, giving them tools needed to succeed and contribute to society.
