You went places very few people especially in this country called the United States of America were able to reach as an African-American entertainer. You paved the way for so many to follow. During this Black Music Month, we salute and honor you and your contributions to our society and world at large. Wish you were here today because you had more to offer I do believe.

Tomorrow, I do not know how I will feel because it is so hard to put into words how much he really meant to me. If I were famous and had been out there five years ago this month, I would have done my best to reach out to Michael not the pop star but the person that he was. I wish that he could have gotten away and lived in another country for good that appreciated him for who he truly was a person once the trial was over. Not only in 2006 but forever. I miss him so much and I don't know what else to say.

I sat in church for two Sundays beginning last Sunday and today and cried. I tried to hide it. I am still numb.
