I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Michael was and will always be the best. He's someone to be admired for his talent, for his perseverance, for his creativity, his poetry, his magic, his genius, his love, compassion, empathy, kindness, forgiveness, unselfishness, his laughter, his devotion to his mother, children, and his fans.
He was given the gift of music, and could dance like no other. He had a great sense for fashion.
Did you know he invented the shoes that allowed him to do the 45 angle lean in the Smooth Criminal short film?
He followed the teachings of Jesus by being humble, by forgiving those who bared false witness against him. Michael understood poverty and all that it entailed and donated so much to charities.
He wanted to inspire us to make a change in this world...His songs reflected this wish.
MJ was a great humanitarian, a philanthropist.
He took the time to go visit sick children in hospitals and orphanages and even saved the life of a little boy by the last name of Farkus who was in need of a liver transplant. He truly loved children. Have you ever noticed how gentle and tender he was to those sickly children? He radiated love. To look in his eyes is to see God's reflection... His smile was...Perfection!
Always wanted the best for his fans. Never rejected his fans i.e. signed autographs, hugged fans, tried to please fans by singing the songs they wanted to hear at his concerts.
Opened his home to the sick, and the less fortunate. He gave people what HE always wanted and needed which is simply to be loved.
...When he died, a part of me died with him. I never got the chance to meet him but I've felt a connection to him that I have yet to feel with anyone else. Michael is the closest example of a Christ-like person I've ever seen in my lifetime. My world will never be the same without him in it....

All alone wishing on stars
Waiting for you to find me
One sweet night I knew I would see
A stranger who'd be my friend
When someone in the dark reaches out to you
And touches off a spark that comes shining through
It tells you never be afraid
Then somewhere in your heart you can feel the glow
A light to keep you warm when the night winds blow
Like it was written in the stars I knew
My friend, my someone in the dark was you
Promise me we'll always be
Walking the world together
Hand in hand where dreams never end
My star secret friend and me
When someone in the dark reaches out to you
And touches off a spark that comes shining through
It tells you never be afraid
Then somewhere in your heart you can feel the glow
A light to keep you warm when the night winds blow
Look for the rainbow in the sky
I believe you and I
Could never really say goodbye
Wherever you may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me
Wherever you may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me
Though you're gone star far away
Each time I see a rainbow
I'll remember being with you
Smiles coming through my tears
When someone in the dark reaches out for you
And touches off a spark that comes shining through
It tells you never be afraid
Then somewhere in your heart you can feel the glow
A light to keep you warm when the night winds blow
Look for the rainbow in the sky
I believe you and I
Could never really say goodbye
Wherever you may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me
Wherever you may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me!

Re: UNPRECEDENTED NUMBER OF SELL-OUTS REPORTED WORLDWIDE FOR FIRST SHOWINGS OF “MICHAEL JACKSON’S THIS IS IT”
Did anybody think otherwise? Of course the movie is sold out...and more theaters will continue to report filled theater seats....and hopefully they will extend the "This is it" movie for more than just two weeks and give more people a chance to see it
