On Saturday 23rd January I went to the official Michael Jackson fan day at the o2 arena in London. It was a day I will never ever forget. You could feel the love for Michael emanating off of every person present and the atmosphere was like nothing I have ever experienced before.

Just today I went to see Fame at the cinemas and it was jam packed. The This Is It trailer came on before the movie and everyone started singing along and saying "I love you Michael", it brought me to tears. If there is a reaction like this to the trailer alone then I can't wait to see and experience the fans reaction when the film comes out.
It will truly be a memorable experience.

Michael is the most deserving of this award by far.
What upsets me however with things such as this is the fact that he had to die to get this recognition.
Would he have still gotten the award this year if he was living? I really don't know.
Michael should have gotten this years ago like he deserved. To be honest it will probably surprise some people that he didn't already have it. Surely he would come top of the list for years past as the artist most likely to recieve it.
