I'm a fan (and you should be too) because Michael is the Greatest! No one has ever affected people the way he has. He did so much for people. He donated money to 39 charities and visited numerous hospitals to give kids toys, autographs, and most of all, love. He said "we are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving". And Michael did just that. He made people think. His lyrics were powerful and from the heart. Berry Gordy said that a song is supposed to tell a story...and Michael was filled with them. He had that gift because anything he felt: lonely, sadness, anger, happiness, he could put it all into his music. Everything he said was true. Michael Jackson made music history. He was the Greatest Performer On Earth! We only have a few Greats: Elvis, James, Aretha, Jackie, Smokie and then there was Michael. He made being one if the Greats different because he soared to new hieghts. And even though his inspiration were people like Jackie and James, in the end he still made it Michael. He took things from these artists and made it better. To sing a song like "Who;s Loving You" with the passion and feeling of a grown man who's been through heartbreak at 10 years old isn't normal. And Michael wasn't. He had this glow about him that made everybody love him (evenif they didn't at some point). On the afternoon of June 25, 2009, the world didn't lose ONE of it's greats. The world lost it's GREATEST. But fans like us keep him alive, because he will never be gone. His spirit is still here adn his music will live FOREVER! These are just a few reasons why I'm a fan.
