well, i would just like to thank my mom... she was a musician/songwriter/fan of music... and in the house i was always aware of what was going on in the industry... being a product of the late 70's... well, who was the groundbreaker then???? i have fond memories of eating dinner in front of the tv watching motown 25, video premiers, etc.... thats how i grew up...
beyond that, i had a nap almost everyday... and i had this awesome pink cassette player (auto reverse and everything ) thriller was in that thing constantly... (had to start on side 2 cause that was beat it! ) had to make sure i was asleep before thriller!!!) anyway, one day i melted the tape ruining that cool pink player...
and thats why im a fan... the mans been a part of my life since birth... and i appreciate every second of it... truly a big part of me has left this earth, but will live on forever in my heart and in the memory of my mother who has also passed...
