This Is It! Michael Jackson's Drummer tours down under in World Exclusive Tribute Concert!

Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett has played drums for Michael Jackson and the Jackson family for 30 years and would have performed with Michael on his ‘THIS IS IT’ Tour.

Moffett began playing drums at the early age of 6 and at 12 earned the nickname "Sugarfoot" due to his fast and articulate bass drum work, playing 16th and even 32nd note figures within his funky and relentless grooves!

Jonathan has also performed and/or recorded with the world’s biggest acts: Madonna, George Michael, Elton John and Julian Lennon. He’s appeared on television shows such as Good Morning America, Saturday Nite Live and Arsenio Hall. Along with Jonathan's impressive list of credits, he is a proud inductee into the marquis 'Who's Who Journals' including: 'Who's Who in America'; 'Who's Who in the West' and 'Who's Who in the World'!

Hi Dangerous Dorita

Jonathan is preparing a very special presentation for MJ fans
We're sure there will be lots of MJ MAGIC!

Hi Angiebree
Jonathan will be performing at the AIMS show in Melbourne

Aww no Melbourne?!

This is fantastic news! Thanks for sharing!

There was a magazine interview with him and all the other drummers who were involved with Michael in both recording and touring and the appraisals for Michael couldn't have been more complimentary.

Perhaps he'll disclose how that magic classic lead-in to Rock With You evolved with the extra triple drum hook on a 4/4 beat for example. That would be fascinating to hear how the distinct incredible trademark Michael magic evolved.
