another GREAT preformer passed. Michael was and is king but we've got to remember that other artists have great music too. Like Whitney Huston: her music and style is amazing no one can be her just like no one can be michael and I feel that Whitney Huston was a Wonderfull star and I remember wathcing her stand up on that stage and sing her heart out to the world. The life of a star is very very hard, of course their are ups also that go along with that. I believe anyone with a heart like Michaels or even Whitneys got them into Heaven and I thank God for Music because if it weren't for music than life would be soooo borring and the world would be more currup in ways we can't even understand. So lets take the day and remember Whitney as we remember Michael because she was "Gone too Soon"

I am very, very saddened to hear of Whitney's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to Bobbi Kristina, Mrs. Cissy Houston and Whitney's brother Michael Houston, Dionne Warwick, the Houston/Warwick family extended, New Hope Baptist Church and friends. You are all very deeply in our hearts and in our prayers. Whitney is among my favorite female singers, where she will remain. Her legacy will always live on, as she will always live in our hearts. Whitney, we will always love you. Rest in peace.
It's really hitting home for me. Like Whitney, (Queen Latifah, and Faith Evans), I'm from Newark New Jersey, have visited New Hope Baptist Church a year before Whitney's rise to stardom to stardom. I briefly lived three doors down from Mrs. Cissy Houston in Orange, NJ, before moving to CA. My father knew Dionne before her rise. It's hitting everyone hard.
I believe that there is very much sprituality in rain. I believe that sometimes God is just washing (us in the spirit), the earth and feeding nature. The rain can be beautiful, romantic. There are other times when I feel he is angered; other times He is very sad, there is a real sadness in the rain. Yesterday it rained, with sadness. I woke up to it raining. Just a few days before, it rained with a similar feel. I turned on the tv to CNN, looking for news of something happening. This has often happened like when the Columbine shootings occured. No lie. The sky was dark. As strange as it sounds, I felt a real sadness and actually asked what's wrong God? Later the news of the horroric terror. Yesterday's rain, was sad, but what happened yesterday I would have never expected....
Too many people are leaving. Last week Don Cornelious's passed. A week before Etta James. It's almost unreal.
I remember hearing the news about Michael. I happened to have slept in late that day; had a feeling to turn on the tv to CNN. The worst hadn't been announced. I was glued, praying. My brother called from the East Coast. He/my family KNOWS how crazy I am about Michael. Eversince I first saw Michael's handsome face when I was 9, in 1969. I used to drive my brother nuts, talking about my love for Michael. He broke the news. Talking about HYSTERICAL?! I thought I was going to lose my cotton-picking mind! Michael baby my spirit just wouldn't let me let you go. I've still got you by the hand babe to never let go. Holding on to my dream of destiny/victory. Baby after only Jesus Himself, you're the only one who keep a smile on my face even through the worst of times. You make my heart smile. You make me so happy. Without you, there's no me.
