Sure hope it is respectful. But it is really just good publicity for her ...again, capitalizing twice on this one interview, and showcasing herself.

Her interview on Access Hollywood was disrespectful of the 12 members of the public who served selflessly for FIVE months on the jury in 2005. How dare she imply that these people's judgment were impaired? They sat there an listened to a prosecution that was extravagantly paid for by the California taxpayers, and found there was no case, even tho there was a huge panel of experts hired, etc, 70 sheriffs searching Neverland, etc....Her ego is amazing. I guess she thinks that a jury of regular people can't think as clearly as she can, huh?

I will never watch her or buy rag mag again. Not that I ever really did very much.

Maybe O should read Aphrodite Jones' book, then she will see that the accusers were grifters.

What Oprah COULD do in order to demonstrate that she is remorseful about being one of the many who abandoned him during the 2007 trial,

is clear the air by having Aphrodite Jones and Tom Mesereau on her show,

I will not be watching as this is just another method of getting herself stratospheric ratings by using Michael's name.

I respect the Jackson family, and do not wish to cause any more pain, but I wish O was not given permission to air the interview. I also do not understand why she is being given publicity on this site, especially after how she bought in to the negative media commentary on Michael on Access.

She was not so well known in '93 and he helped put her on the map, and not she does not deserve the ratings Michael will bring her yet again.

I will not watch Oprah and her remembering Michael she just wants RATINGS TOO LATE for that. I'm sorry so harsh but where was she ? A little too late for Oprah now if she cared she would have done and helped out more ALONG TIME AGO. Old story Oprah sorry. If it wasn't for Michael she would not be as big as she is. The doubt in her mind no good.

We all Love Michael Jackson and miss him to no end. We are and always will be the best friends that he so deeply needed. What ever you have planned for your MJ tribute make it respectful or dont do it at all. It is so very hard for me not to think of MJ morning and night. Thinking of how I would have definately made him think of himself first, instead of trying to always take care of the world. As true as that might be, MJ was always a caring and giving person. Show him the respect and love he showed us.

oprah's comments on access hollywood re: mj can be found on hulu (search for oprah access hollywood michael jackson). she does believe that there is truth to the child molestation charges...or as she states, it gives her "pause", though she has a lot of compassion for him. she interviewed him once, 16 years ago. i wouldn't say that makes her an expert on his personality or private life. i do think that after having made comments that lean toward his possible guilt, she should NOT be re-airing this 1993 interview in any form...clips, full interview, thoughts then, thoughts now. it would be appropriate to make her statement, and leave it at that. re-airing the interview does seem to be pandering to the audience for ratings sake on her part. imo she phone's it in to her show most of the time anyway, and her credibility has suffered as a result. don't even get me started on the gayle king thing....

I saw this years ago and felt very uncomfortable for Michael. Why has Oprah been given air time for this to broadcast again & now of all times. Please get her off this site. She has done good things but what is her motive here. Oprah please explain yourself where are you going with this. You are bound to be inquisitive and get on this site and see peoples reactions.
We are waiting for an answer why? Please post an explanation.
