TO THE FANS WHO DON'T BELIEVE MJ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OPUS, you need to know one thing about Michael, he can jugle many projects at the same time, and he started this projekt way before his rehearsels for THIS IS IT concerts. He was also writing a new album, during rehearsels. Thats why his one of a kind, he lives, breathe music, dance and every project he puts his heart into, that the way he is and always have been. He is very hard working, compared to regular people and he have a selfdiciplin I've never seen in other human beings. He was not able to finish it, but the people who worked with him from OPUS did. We have to be happy that we get a 1. Class look into MIchael's life, thanks to OPUS.

I ordered mine when I first heard about it, and can't wait to recive it :·)

Wow. This video made me cry. He was so special. I can't wait to receive the book. I think it should arrive withing a week or so.

I didn't know that the Opus they spoke with Michael about had to do with the London concerts only. *sigh* that would have been so great. And then another one covering his whole career was to be done weighing over 90 pounds. That would have been the most amazing thing ever!!! I saw a photo of Prince Charles' book, and it looked to be about 5-foot tall. I hope they still do the 90 lb. book on his life. It doesn't sound like it, but maybe.

The website says it weighs 26 pounds, in this clip they say it weighs 38 pounds, and when I placed the order, it said 38 pounds. I remember first I saw the shipping was a lot. I don't remember how much exactly, maybe $25 or $30. I didn't at that point know how much it weighed. I figured it was a regular book size. When I saw the shipping fee, I thought that since it's coming from England, maybe that's why it's so much. Then when I saw 38 pounds, I underestood the shipping cost. Michael well worth it.

CaliMJfan, that was my reaction too about the Opus video being put up here a while ago, but I'm so happy they heard our complaints about Adam's video and took it down, that I won't complain about the Opus video being old.

The Opus Book is going to be really special, just like its subject matter. I think I might have to give it its own table.

I saw your comment after I wrote mine. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw it before. I ordered mine the same day it was offered too. Glad I did -- it was 1/2 price then, although now still isn't the $330 it was originally priced at. That's awesome though because I looked at Prince's Opus which only covers his 2007 performances at the O2, 200 pages and is $2,100. But his is limited to 950 copies.

He met with and started on this project only 3 days before his death? How then have they incorporated so much into it? He was in full day practices, so when did he have time to actually sit down and work out the layout, etc. of the Opus? Also, if I recall correctly it was somewhere in that same time frame possibly the same day that Michael came to practice with security. And finally, it has been revealed that most of the footage from This Is It was laid down during the last 3 days. What happened within those last 3 to 5 days that caused such a flurry of commotion and creative work to be laid down? What on earth happened?

At any rate, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my copy of OPUS. It would certainly knock the wind right out of me it he hand delivered it to me himself. Just thought I'd throw that in in case he's watching, lol. There is something certainly mystifying in all of this. But what ever is the case, Michael I love you more and you STILL rock my world!

Everyone, be grateful that Kracken Opus and Michael's Estate decided not to make this a limited edition. Prince's Opus which only covers his 2007 performances at the O2, has only 200 pages is $2,100 (two THOUSAND one hundred dollars) and is limited to only 950 copies.

Michael's is over 400 pages, 26 pounds for $249 from Opus and $225 from Ticketmaster. Even in unlimited print, it will be a one of a kind and special edition because it is of Michael.

By the way, today on the Opus page, it lists the book at 404 pages, so they continue to add. Yipee!

Yes, the book is beautiful. I wish I could get it but money is low right now. Hopefully in 2010 sometime. I did get the"Vault" for my birthday, it is also officially from him and extrememely nice. I have the bracelet and keychain from his Merchandise. But the Opus is a bit to hard right now for me.
I have been recording MJ since the 90's. I have old VH1 specials, MJ & Donny Osmond, MJ on The Dating Game when younger, Bucharest Live, Moonwalker, Jackson Family Honors, The Jackson's-An American Dream (movie/actors), The Making of Thriller, The premeir of Scream. I did not know the 30th Anniversary was aired recently. I recently taped 'Living With Michael Jackson'/Martin Bashir, and a video countdown on the FUSE channel,and of course the awards. I also recently went into search on my TV and did not find this Aniversary : ( ! I am hoping we see alot of his old stuff hitting the TV's soon. I will continue to keep searching my TV menu. In the 90's I lent someone the Super Bowl with MJ and didn't get it back! I wish I never lent it out! I have also taped over 30
hours of media since 6/25/09 as well as his service and burial. My friend said -"See, you and MJ have something in common, he also had tapes and CD's all over the place in his room/office." For Christmas I need my MJ CD's updated. My HIStory CD is scratched, I have played it until I wore it down to nothing! I will be getting the movie when it comes out. I saw in Walmart the 'This Is It' movie Book! For $15 it is like a movie program, and the pictures are large and very colorful. I want That Too!
