I must say that I was very upset about the awards show last night because I thought that Michael only won two awards. I found out today that he actually won four, two were not televised (WHY NOT?). The thing that I am most upset about is that Taylor Swift won Artist of the Year. While I have nothing against the girl, I don't think that she should have won.

Michael has more than earned that title and more. How many artists do you know of who could get nominated in a current year for 5 catagories for an album of greatest hits released way back in 2003? I doubt very seriously that Taylor will be releasing a greatest hits album any time soon, especially in 25 years. For some reason, she seems to be the golden girl this year for all the award shows. This leads me to believe that some of this stuff is fixed according to who they want to wear the crown. I know that the fans voted for her, but how can she beat both MJ and Beyonce? The girl can't even dance!!

I don't want to be all down on Taylor. She is a nice girl. I am happy that he won 4 of the nominations. I guess that I get too sensitive about him because I love him with all my heart.

MJ truly deserved these awards. He should have gotten Entertainer of The Year as well. I think it is the year of the Swift girl, not saying it was rigged, but she won all those CMA awards as well. She should not have even been in competiton with MJ. When it comes to Michael there is no competition, imagine if any of those other clowns would have beat him. I too was disappointed that they didn't televise all four awards, what were they thinking? There will never be another MJ. He was sent to us for a reason. He wasn't just an entertainer, he was a genius, sent to a place that did not appreciate & was not ready to understand him. I am trying to make a difference in the world just by doing little things, like thinking before I am too critical of someone or something. I am sure that MJ is seeing and knowing all the love that is being poured out to him. I too think I will meet him in the hereafter. I wish I would have known him personally. It's all about L. O. V. E. LOVE. Love you more, Michael.

i am SO happy for MICHAEL!!! I jumped outta my seat and cheered for him and clapped so loudly for jermaine. Taylor should DEFINITLEY not have got artist of the year, but i appreciate wat she said for michael. Janet's performance was wonderful! LOVE YOU MJ!

i saw somebody's comment here on this news article about oprah and her interview with lisa marie back maybe in 2005 or 2006. as curious as i was i checked it out on youtube. true to what the fan had said, i didn't like the way the interview went. lisa marie admitted that she loved michael and she believed that michael loved her as much as he could love somebody but then when it gotten to the point where oprah asked her certain questions pertaining to the reasons why she had married him and how their marraige was, they laughed first before proceeding to discussing the issue as if they were laughing at the fact
of being involved with michael. as a fan, I DIDN'T LIKE IT, the way they dealt with the issues regarding michael, as if he was the strangest person in the world. i also saw oprah's interview with michael in 1992 and clearly she appeared to be pleased of interviewing him and even told him that she really liked him when he gave in to perform some dance steps and acapella of one of his songs for her. it just disappoints me how these two people reacted to him a few years later. when he died, lisa posted a blog that straightened things out regarding her relatioship with michael and how she feels about him now that he is gone. i think what she did is GREAT, at least the public knows the truth about them and it also made me LIKE her again. i just thought that oprah could have done better when she did a tribute for michael when he passed away. she could have mentioned her interview with lisa and maybe apologize for the way she reacted to him or the issues concerning michael back then.
having said all of these things, i don't want to upset anybody nor damage anybody's reputation, i am just expressing my opinion.

Michael Jackson worked so hard all of his life.

OMG!!!!!!! That is so good, and it makes me happy to see that Michael wasnt just making music and changing peoples lives forever for nothing. i wish that he was here to see all of the awards that he has and i hope that he is in Heaven with GOD and the Angels, along with the Heavenly Souls watching down and seeing his achievements have done well.

You will find this song in the Thriller 25th Aniversary Edition. What were they thinking when they left out this song? You got to listen to FOR ALL TIME.

I wasnt quite happy when i heard that Taylor Swift had won the Artist of the Year award. I dont have anything against her, but that award should have gone to Mike. On Jermaine: has he been self annointed, I mean appointed, as the one we have to endure, I mean see, acceptimg any future awards on behalf of Michael? Why did Jermaine bring HIS children up there for MICHAEL's award?

I would much rather see Katherine (not Joe), Janet or Michael's children accepting any future awards and no more Jermaine. I think somewhere in Jermaine's head, the awards he accepts are for himself.

I'm happy that he won the 4 awards he so rightly deserved. But I'm shocked that he didn't win artist of the year! I believe it was fixed and was a marketing scheme so that Taylor's sales will increase.

There's no way she can ever have more fans than Michael, even the smallest kids know and love Michael Jackson! I'm happy she won in the other categories but there's no way possible she could've won over Michael Jackson. I wonder how many votes she won by?

He set a record for # of AMA's won by a single artist-23!!! No one will ever come to him, period. I was bummed out that he didn't get the Artist of the year award, but hey, we all know that he is the best. It appears that they decided to give that to Tyler, whatever her name is. Nothing against her (I do not know her music and to me, music=Michael Jackson), but having her and Michael in the same category was a joke to me even though she is widely popular this year. I love you Michael now and forever.

Congratulations to Michael Jackson, the King of Entertainment. When he won his awards (the one which was televised), most of my family was clapping and going crazy. The other 2 awards that he won should have been televised. We, the fans, did our job, voted.

I watched the show last night but I didn't get to see all of it cuz I had to go to bed, but I recorded it. I saw it when he won that Best Male Vocalist R/B thing and I SCREAMED. You could hear me all throughout the house! My mom was all, "CORRIE, STOP YELLING! YOU'LL WAKE YOUR SISTER!" and I was all "THIS IS A BIG MOMENT FOR ME!!!"

I'm sad that Michael didn't win Artist of the Year, though. That was the award I was looking most forward to. Who did win it?

I was pleased that MJ won the 4 awards that he did! It is a shame that it took him passing for those people to reconize his music is still alive! I wished that Janet would have accepted his awards for him, she was closer to him, and it would have been more heart felt. Maybe we will see his children accept awards for him! That would be a true blessing. I hope that MJ is smiling down from heaven and can feel the deep love of all of his fans, because we all know that we have not heard the last of MJ yet! RIP sweet one.

I watched it and couldn't stop crying. I first watched Janet open the show and then eharing Mj name called and seeing Jermaine almost to tears walking to the from almost killed me. Luv you MJ and miss u so much. seeing all those people perform over there I couldn't stop thinking what it would have been for Mj performing his moves on that stage.
