Michael's legacy as the King of Pop is deserved because he earned it. But many are still unaware of his unselfish unprecedented humanitarian work. Michael gave over $300 million dollars of his own money to charity. He gave ALL of his earning from his Victory & Dangerous Tours to charity - not some - ALL. Before EVERY concert, Michael would visit orphanages & children hospitals bring gifts for the kids. If the conditions in the institutions were not up to par, Michael would tell them that he would not take the stage that night to perform if the changes he requested were not made. Kenny Ortega spoke about this as he was with Michael in Budapest. Michael literary told them, that if you don't make these changes, I will not perform & the changes were made in plenty of time for Michael to take the stage.

This IS who Michael Jackson was. The world needs to know this & celebrate the FULLNESS of this man. Michael WAS the Man in The Mirror reaching out to Heal The World because he knew that We Are The World and that change starts with US. He didn't just WRITE those words, he LIVED them.

no matter what...the only thing that makes me happy after we lost mj..is the fact that showbiz honors him..did tributes for him..to show the great respect we have for the man who is very much willing to share his genius..sad too, because mj is not already around to witness all of this..but i know he is watching from up above...i know he is in pain when he left ,but i guess he is much contented with the legacy that he has given us..he is a contented father..i can feel it in his aura..gone to soon mj..luv ya...

Tears were streaming down my face as I was awtching the entire tribute. What a beautiful choregraphy and everyone - including the musical arrangement - did Michael justice. It was just bloody inspiring stuff! La Toya capped off a great foreword to the performance and, after watching the backstage interview, Katherine and Jermaine loved it to bits and I bet tears were streaming down their faces also. Michael would have loved it immensely. Great performance, fitting tribute and respectable justice to the greatest music icon that has ever graced this planet. God bless you Michael, you'll continue to thrill us all up above from wherever you are.

I thought the tribute was good. But after watching Thriller as many times as I have, they didnt get the beginning right. They were moving their heads, instead of their shoulders. There was one dancer in the back who looked totally lost. I just felt that they should have done this tribute earlier in the season. But I must say that the dancers had nothing but respect for Michael. Their comments really made me feel proud that they had nothing but high regard for Michael. Katherine Jackson looked great. I hear she has reequested tickets for next week. I'm glad that she seems to be finding her way, after her tragic loss. Thank You Mrs. Jackson for giving us such a wonderful Human Being. Michael was so loved. And I continue to pray for your and the childrens strength. To the brothers and sisters Jackson's, I want to thank you as well for letting Michael cultivate his craft.

i didnt like this at all...mostly cause of the singer...i coulda sang that crap better than him...and for the dancing; its cool that they did this for him but put some more michael into it instead of homo...they all looked gay.

Love the tribute, was a little emotional. Would had been better if they would have Michael singing. It was nice to see the family there to see. Love ya Michael, miss you much.

I thought it was a really god tribute. Sure it was missing that sparkle and that magic, but it was still a good effort. They've earn 1 flower .

The dancing tribute was so good and i'm glad they kept it more in tune with the way Michael danced. I was shocked by my emotion when Thriller came on and realise that I still hate knowing that he will no longer be here to influence and inspire me for the rest of my life. His music was such an inspiration and comfort to me growing up but as I watch my 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter's faces light up when they watch him come on TV i find comfort knowing that they will also find enjoyment from Michael's music and dancing.

It was just beautiful.

the whole dance routine was very good and thought out, i did think it was cool that they added a part from "The Wiz"..... but the singer wasnt very good, they needed michael's actual voice.

I taste a lot of the dances were very accurate but what I did not like was that they should have put the songs themselves from Michael, so would have been much more special ... Really! Inmagine me that had to be so because they were assessing their choreography with their own music ... What counts is the intention and that's what counts, and we support it as long as they spend it with all my heart and I have enjoyed

I enjoyed watching and found that it was more emotional for me than I had anticipated. It was good to see Katherine, LaToya and Jermaine there. I only wish MIchael's original music could've been used but nevertheless, in my opinion the dancers did themselves proud and the Thriller tribute was my favorite. Will forever love seeing anything positive and honoring about this unique, loving man that gave so much of himself to all of us and to the world. May his tributes continue infinitum. LIVE BAND SINGING ON DWTS MJ TRIBUTE -
DWTS never uses the Original Artists Music on the show because they have to get legal right to play the Artist Original music( a lot of red tape). Also, they have to pay the Artist royalties for the use of their original songs. We were hoping they would make an exception for MJ and NOT use the DWTS House Band for the DWTS MJ Tribute... BUT that wasn't to be.

Nevertheless, It was a AWESOME TRIBUTE to our BELOVED MICHAEL JACKSON and it would have been PERFECT if they could have used Michael's Actual Voice but they couldn't.

Anyway, GREAT JOB DWTS PROs. You made me CRY and You made MICHAEL PROUD!! Mike was definitely smiling down from Heaven!! Michael really liked Cheryl Burke and Derek Hough too because he liked and watched DWTS!!!

This was an amazing tribute. I had tears in my eyes when people were speaking about him. Cheryl Burke did a fantastic job being in charge of the dance. Michael Jacskon was smiling down from Heaven. Katherine Jackson looks amazing as always.

Every dancer did a FANTASTIC job.

Ah, that was awesome! I smiled as soon as they showed the first dancer's feet. The camera view (cropping to feet only), the socks, and the stance all screamed "Moonwalk!" Any of those alone would be enough, but my goodness, with all three...it was perfect! Also really love the long slide on the floor and the tango moves. Oh, and Thriller. That one almost made me misty-eyed, I loved it so much! Having people come in through mist from the audience was a brilliant touch!

I think Michael would have been very pleased! LaToya certainly was. ^_^

I watched the tribute on the show Tuesday night and I thought it was fantastic. Most of the comments I have read have wondered why they didn't use Michael's voice, well the only reason I can think of is that during the show they spoke with one of the singer's for the show and he said that he had toured with Michael for twenty years, I think this was his way of paying tribute to Michael. I think the whole thing was great and very well done. The dancers were awesome, as usual, but seem to have a little extra during this routine. Michael would have been proud.

I only wish that he could have been paid tribute to when he was still able to see it and enjoy it for himself. It's so so sad that he had to leave this world not knowing just how much he was loved and admired by so many.

I will always love and cherish Michael.

It's beautiful all the people that remember what that way is no longer hurts to see it, you always carry in my heart, you are amazing and you will be a being, for that reason will live forever in all of us who really admire you and respect you, never imagined it would happen so soon .... you left too soon ...

Just watched the clip right here...I thought is was GREAT! Wonderful....Well done....I could go on and on...YET....I wish they had used Michaels "VOICE" to the set...These were his songs so "HONOR" all the way...why did they not use his voice? Short takes of his orginals would have been the BEST! All in all they danced great and did a pretty nice tribute....Choreographed well..we all know that "NO ONE" could have done the MOVES as Michael had and that is how it SHOULD BE...Liked it alot!

Im sorry, but I have seen 2 tribute shows, way better than this... It was awfull 2 watch, the dancing wasent good at all, when you think about the tiltle of the shows name!!! And the singing what can I say, eather you use Michaels voice or you try to sing just like Michael meaning you can sing like him. It's a disaster especiaally when you think about it's on TV... It's a SHAME...
