The Michael Jackson GRAMMY Museum Exhibit Extended Through Summer 2010
In late October 2009, The GRAMMY Museum unveiled its special exhibit, Michael Jackson: A Musical Legacy. Residing on the Museum's fourth floor, the exhibit serves as a follow-up to the earlier Michael Jackson: HIStyle exhibit, which opened in February 2009, and the temporary memorial display, erected just after the King of Pop's passing.
"The overwhelming response to our earlier exhibits speaks to Jackson's unparalleled place in music history and the public's deep connection to his music," said Executive Director Robert Santelli. "We're excited to share even more of Jackson's life and legacy with his fans and we hope it serves as a fitting tribute to one of the most significant entertainers in music history."

Posted by DARLING DEAR on Apr 16, 2010 at 7:14 PMI was very fortanate to attend the Grammy Museum and leave a drawing of Michael on the board. I was very sad but felt happy with other MJ fans. It's unforgettable. They had his Thriller outfit, his white sequend jacket with the eagle, which he performed What More Can I Give. If you get a chance it's a memory you will treasure for a life time. Hope to go again soon. Love you Always Darling Dear

Posted by photozrus on Apr 17, 2010 at 11:39 AMI was there. No picture taking. But it was cool. I was emotional but hid it well. Many jackets,/gloves and his Thriller tux. I find it hard to believe he was so tiny. He was a giant on stage. The sound room with the Thriller video is awesome! They also have 3 floors of other very cool stuff. 1st floor has Janis Joplin's groovy ride as well as many famous guitars. Proceeds help to keep music in schools. Everybody wins.

"They Dont' Care About Us" (Michael Jackson)
LYRICS
Some things in life they just don't wanna see
But if Martin Luther was livin'
He wouldn't let this be
Skin head, dead head
Everybody gone bad
Situation, segregation
Everybody allegation
In the suite, on the news
Everybody dog food
Kick me, Kike me
Don't you wrong or right me
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
All I wanna say is that
They don't really care about us
XOXOXO - MJ,
