Just a review of Childhood:
When it's a person's birthday in NJ and the person's dead, the local radio station plays an all-day marathon of their music. In Michael's case, when his birthday came, it was a WEEKEND-long marathon!! At that time, I was still very, very ,very, very sad and still in a deep depression. When they played Childhood, I heard sobbing. Mom was crying. I was crying, too. And they played MJ vids on the video channel on cable and BET. They showed the vid for Childhood and I cried. Hard. I did not care though. I loved MJ and I always will. This song made me cry because it's true: Michael didn't have a childhood (Joe's fault!!!!!). I will always miss him..... (I am actually crying as I type. I'm listening to it.) and I love him. He left too soon. I am only 11 years old, but everyone loved MJ. Babies, kids, teens, and adults.( George Lucas' daughter's first words were "Michael Jackson"!!! ) I love this song, but I hate the fact that it makes me cry...and I don't cry over songs!!
If you think Mike is weird and a Peter Pan-wannabe, here is some advice:
Before you judge him, try hard to love him,
look within your heart, then ask:
Have you seen his childhood?
Rest in Peace, Michael.

Just a review of Smile..... Charlie would have LOVED this!! ( You know Charlie Chaplin wrote this, right?) It is really cool. And, as someone said, Come Together is better than the original (No offense, Beatles. You rock!)! This album is really sweet and I don't know why this wasn't MJ's HUGE comeback like Bad was. It is sad. RIP MJ

I seriously thought Mike would never make a comeback. But, he did!!!.......sort of. This is cooooool. I was born in the Blood on the Dance Floor era (1998), but my mom did show me Scream and I loved it! That is my fave vid off the album. It is true. And Earth Song is epic. So is Stranger in Moscow! In other words, this is one of Michael's best and one of the best....EVER.

This album is sick. The videos are amazing. The songs are awesomingly creepy in a way, especially Earth Song. The tour is MJ's biggest. It's just plain sick. Everything about it is amazing. Though, I have to remember that 'Stranger in Moscow" is on this album. It is the scariest song on this album . Some songs are just so amazing, it's scary. For example:

Thriller (That song is just scary, not good-scary, just scary.....)

i was flippin out wen i finally realized that almost all of these songs were about michael's life. so sad that it was like that, though. and i was sooooooooooooo psyched wen i found that this CD came out a month before i was born.

It really is a great album. I love 'Tabloid Junkie' it's such a cool song. Also '2 Bad', 'Stranger in Moscow', & 'They Don't Care About Us' are great songs.

SCREAM IS MY FAVORITE SONG on this album, lemme jus say an amazing album, one the favorites, all of his albums are amazing, lemme jus say love em all, miss mj so much.

His greatest album yet, right next to Thriller. I love it. I'll soon be buying it, 'cause its great. I love all his songs, albums, movies, and videos, and hope to have them all soon.

I love dhis cd! Da first disc needs no explanation (list of some of his hits) Da second disc iz da BOMB! I love ' Little Susie, Stranger In Moscow (one of my favs), Childhood, Smile , well hell lets jus say da whole album! Each song is special and excellent. Dhis album is special becuz i find myself enjoying songs i wouldn't normally like if sung by someone else. Dhis album made me step out of my listening boundaries and made me more open-minded. Love ya Mike!

I love this album but it's my least favorite of Michael's only because of disc 1! I wish disc 1 was new song instead of old ones, I just feel like if I pay for a 2-Disc, I should get 2 discs worth of new songs! Still a good album but disc 2 makes me want more songs! Trust me, it's hard to actually rank Michael Jackson albums, they really are good! I guess this would be #18 out of 100 on the list, lol! Enjoy

I got this cd, along with my first boom box, when I was eight years old. Unfortunately, I ruined the booklet, but at least the cds are still good. I remember practically laughing at "Stranger in Moscow" because for some reason, I thought he said stranger in mustard. What a stupid 8 year old I was! I pulled out this cd again 8 years later and devoted myself to MJ again. For some reason, I thought I was too cool for Michael Jackson when I was nine....don't ask....Anyways, I remember listening to "Stranger in Moscow" again and I wept. For the first time, I saw Michael Jackson as a person who was dying inside, and not as an icon. I kept listening to the song over and over again. And every time, I would cry over and over again. I realized that Michael was in need of a friend. I told myself if I ever did meet him, I would give him my phone number and tell him, "if you ever need someone to talk to, you can always talk to me." Well, that never happened. Although I wish it did. But to this day, one of my favorite songs that he sings is this song because you see Michael's true colors and not the master of pop onstage. He was a person, just like you and me. I'm still sad to see that my childhood idol is gone and fallen into a deep black hole. I wish I could have saved him. But don't we all? I love you Michael Jackson and still cry for you. I hope you're not a stranger anymore. I hope you are just plain old Michael Jackson now that you are gone. Love you!

All of Michael's albums are Great, but I like this one, because it has the 5 new songs. I really like HIStory, Stranger in Moscow, Come Together and the Earth Song. On August 29, I will be listening to all my CD's of MJ and watching his DVD's. I miss you Michael. You will Forever be in my Heart. Love You Always.

Autre tuerie de M. Jackson! Le prémiere album offre quelques une des meilleures chansons de l'artiste, ou du moins les plus mémorables. Le second album est génial, avec une parfaite intro celle de Michael et sa soeur Janet dans "Scream", un excellent morceau qui donnerai a n'importe qui envie de crier et de danser.
L'album nous offre biensur les excellents "They Don't Care About Us", le touchant "Stranger In Moscow", les génialement trash "D.S." et "Come Together", le poignant "Earth Song, le géniallissime "2 BAD" (Michael est génial dans "Ghosts" soit dit en passant) mais aussi "Little Susie", morceau méconnus d"une incroyable beauté et respirant une tristesse presque inédite dans la carriére de l'artiste. Sans aucun doute l'un de mes morceaux préféres de Michael et l'une de ces plus touchantes et triste.

En conclusion, History est un trés bon du King Of Pop, tantot mélancolique, tantot dansant.

This one is great, love the throw back to the classic but love the new stuff even more. Thanks Michael Jackson!

This CD set is an absolute must for anyone that loves Michael. The first(a compilation disc) has many of his classics on it. The second has new favorites on it. It includes Smile, which was Michael's favorite song, and I don't think I've ever heard him sound more beautiful than on this track, though Stranger in Moscow and Childhood are close seconds for me. And I love his rendition of Come Together. But probably one of my all time favorite MJ songs is the rarely heard Little Susie with its Gothic feel and haunting melody.

The icing on the cake is a picture packed, 25-page booklet , which includes a list of Michael's awards, tributes by Elizabeth Taylor and Steven Spielberg. And I especially enjoyed reading the dedication pages. It shows what a kind, generous person Michael was. It never fails to amaze me that no matter how famous and wealthy he became, he remained a sweet and caring person. If I could have only one CD of Michael's, it would probably be this set.

Love all of it, and I appreciate the humanity and kindness in Michael, that reflect even in his songs yet again, like in all of his other albums.

love "Stranger in Moscow" so much. Not many like it tough, but i feel personal about it. Fortunately, in one of Michael's History interview, his favorite songs from History album are stranger in moscow, chilhood, eart song. Great choice! A song from heart!
