Michael Jackson is set to receive a posthumous Grammy for Lifetime Achievement Award, adding to his previous 15 Grammy Awards. Others receiving the award include Leonard Cohen, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Loretta Lynn, Andre Previn, Clark Terry and late singer Bobby Darin. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award winners will be honored by The Recording Academy at an invitation-only event on January 30th, the day before the official Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
Michael Jackson tops this year's internet searches across the three biggest search engines: Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Jackson bumps Britney Spears from the top spot on Yahoo which she has held for the past four years. "When the news of Michael Jackson's death came out the traffic was overwhelming," said Vera Chan, Web trend analyst at Yahoo Inc.

At last night's American Music Awards Michael Jackson won favorite male artist in the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories, while his 2003 hits collection "Number Ones" was named favorite album in both those same two categories! Michael's brother Jermaine, accepted two of the the four televised awards saying, "The message that Michael had will live on forever. He saw good in everyone and he wanted everyone to do good. He always started with love."

More than 80 Michael Jackson collectibles -- including the late pop star's famous rhinestone-studded glove from a 1983 performance -- were auctioned off Saturday, reaping a total $2 million.

Profits from the auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York's Times Square crushed pre-sale expectations of only $120,000 in sales.

The highly prized memorabilia, which included items spanning the many stages of Jackson's career, came from more than 30 fans, associates and family members, who contacted Julien's Auctions to sell their gifts and mementos of the singer.
