Michael Jackson MJ Memorablia - What Is Your Most Prized Possession?
Hey!
OK, I bet this has been talked about elsewhere on the forum, but I can't find it!
. . . So, what MJ Memorabilia do you have? And what is your most prized item(s)?
My most prized possessions are the following:
Signed pictures of MJ & Quincy Jones.
Various rare CDs etc.
The knowledge that the great man himself stared right at me outside his hotel before the World Music Awards, 2006. I was in London at the time for the Casino Royale World Premiere and was staying in the hotel literally around the corner from him! . . . I can't describe what it felt like when I saw him . . . but when he stared at me, I froze . . . And he didn't just glance, he really did stare . . .
. . . Now I'm just a normal guy, so God only knows what it must be like for the crazy fans lol

oh wow, i like Michael's giving tree.
Nice.
Well since I knew the man personally for the last 11 years of his life. My most prized possessions are:
TWO hand written, one in cursive one in print, letters Michael wrote to me and my mom they are on ordinary notebook paper and signed in blue pen, Love, Michael J.Jackson.
One autographed 8x10 picture he signed for me in purple ink, along with this a signed note with Michael on it.
A Cross Pendant valued at $5,000, made with Purple Diamonds (and are actually diamonds being they are purple makes them very rare, they come from mines in Africa) it is the last gift Michael gave to me that last Christmas before he died. I wear it everyday and cherish it forever.
I have various other memerobilia that is rare and valuable, including a 12 record set of red colored 45 RPM's of songs from Off The Wall, and Thriller. Bubble Gum cards that were popular in the 80's. Many magazines I kept from the 80's.
But out of all these things the most valuable possession I have is something majority of Michael's female fans/groupies want and that is Michael's true love and heart, it is the most valuable thing of him I could ever have received no amount of money or fame can buy or take away this very precious gift that only I possess with him. We were going to be together in this life once he reached the UK, but due to Murray and other evil people in Michael's life that was temporarily taken away from me. But love like ours lives on past this world and into the next, and it is there I will see my love in paradise. My love, my heart, my soulmate forever no one of this earth has this gift but Michael and I. I already know I will see him again on the last day of my life. My most valuable possession? Michael Jackson my love and eternal husband!! Muahhhhhh!!!! Love, Always MJs Faith Doll Jackson!!
It's great Hana how they notice it makes us proud doesn't it? It's the same with the lifesize stand which is stood in the lounge and the various canvas prints I have on the walls. I've got a big print of just his hand lol, with him wearing the friendship bracelet I sent to him in '93
When visitors first saw them they gawped. Then when I explained the friendship bracelet they just gawped even more
it was so funny to look at the shock on their faces.
I have to say that's my most prized poss followed by my 2 Dangerous concert tickets.
His music (on vinyl, cassette tapes, CDs and mp3s), concert ticket stubs from the shows I attended, numerous tshirts, gloves and jacket replicas (given to me as gifts in the 80s), buttons, posters, a doll (from the 80s) and his book, Moon Walk.
I have! They're right up on the wall in my room, and everybody who comes into my room comments on them almost immediately
Excellent, nice one Hana. Have you got them framed?
I don't have a 'big' collection, but I think the signed Jackson 5 photo that my dad bought me last christmas tops the list - it has all of their signatures, and Michael's is only small and scribbled but so cute
I have two other small signed photos of Michael as well, one a picture of him in a promo shot for Thriller album, and the other a photo from the Bad tour, both signed in the same scribbly handwriting. I love them!
my most prized possesion out of all the stuff i have would have to be my Thriller album. even though it is my dads from the 80s he past it on to me so thats just amazing:)
I bought a pack of playing cards from ebay. Every card has a different picture of Michael on them. They are truly divine and when I play with them I feel as though I am playing with him. A silly item to some people I'm sure, but I am so attached to them. Even taught myself some card tricks. I think Michael could appreciated that.
My collection is pretty big so everything I have is prized.

Well, the ones I have are not really mine. They are my moms, but she let me have them at my house because she's not attached to them... It's the Thriller and Bad vinyls and I have them on display in my livingroom...
"Michael Jackson - The Man In the Mirror 1958-2009" it's small and about 250 pages
burn this disco.. what is your book called ??
Mine's a bit sentimental - it's the "Bad" tape (tapes haha!) that my mum got for me when when I was 9 and had just started loving MJ.
I liked it so much I put a green frog and a butterfly sticker on the cover! Must have been special to my 9 year old self
.
xx
@DangerouslyBad,
The "Teddy Bear Thing" is a furry wall hanging. It looks like a quilt that someone made by hand with different shades of brown "furry fabric". The parts where the paws would be are white furry fabric with black paw prints. It looks like something a fan might have made for Prince, Paris, or Blanket at some point (when they were little babies), but I don't know for sure. I found it on eBay, complete with certificate of authenticity. Since it's not autographed, it wasn't as expensive as some of the other Neverland memorabilia.
I think what happened was, when they were cleaning out Michael's main residence at some point, this was probably something that was found in a room somewhere. It's cute!!!!! I like just looking at it; it reminds me of Michael, because it's so whimsical and yet so completely unique and almost expensive-looking. I hope that if a fan made it for him or his children, the fan would find comfort in the fact that it now resides with another fan who will take very good care of it, and cherish it like the heirloom it is.
Oh wow, my collection looks pathetic compared to a lot of yours hahah. So far, my most important mj possessions would have to be all of his cds, and the live in bucharest dvd.
I also found a nice little book that's filled with numerous pictures of him throughout his life and a description of each one for $5 which is one of my favorites atm.
My most cherished possesion is a 45 of Rock With You. It meant a lot to me then, and means even more to me now. I had no idea just how much more I would cherish it.
dianna, big hug to you! I know how you feel, I also have the collectors vault as well as the treasures book, love the pics and replicas in them. hey, it would be great if you could share your story one day.
Mmh, I've thought of another thing I really treasure, a picture of me and a fellow fan I met on this page together with Michael's wax statue at Madam Tussaud's in London. It's nothing great, but very special to me.
Other than that, I have cds, dvds, more books and magazines, framed pictures and pins... and the Opus, if it ever gets here.
Gotta go to bed now, it's already 1:15am here... love & hugs to you!
Anne
Probably the collectors vault book I just got moments ago...and I opened the first page and totally lost it in tears so I came in here to share stories with you all. I think all of the music I have of Michael's is the best and most precious thing to me. I have a lot of MJ type clothes. I have a huge framed photo of him in the GP and another of a Beat It era Michael in a huge 3 photo collage thingy with a big grammy award on it beside him and one of the photos in this is of him as Smooth Criminal. I have 4 Michael pendants that I wear. I have a couple of Fedoras. Then I have a really giant poster framed of him from Remember the Time. And I have a glove that I treasure because I used to wear it every night on a stage myself in the 80s and 90s ...long story gals, share it later.
Hugs all

but i also love the treasures book and vault with all the replicas of tickets and stuff ... too cool..
think i have too much?? lol ebay is too addictive..but ive beeb "clean" for like a month lol
What's the teddy bear thing your talking about? You have a signed picture!!!! Gosh your so lucky!!!!!
I need to get that thing framed...but first I need my parents to officially give it to me or i'll probly "steal" it from them lol
@Dangerously Bad,
I'd have a hard time getting all of my stuff out of a burning house, but I understand that level of devotion. I'd definitely go back in for my autographed photo of Michael with the black puma......and for my oversized poster of him with that quote. I took it and had it professionally framed!
The teddy bear wall hanging is at school, and safe in my classroom. If we ever have to evacuate for a real fire or some other catastrophe, it's going with me!!!!!
Well I have an original edition of Thriller on vinyl that I would go back into a burning house for.
Wow, some of you have really quite a collection

Since I'm quite new to collection MJ stuff, I don't have so much, but I'm the very proud owner of the original BAD record from 1987
Just got it in late summer, and it didn't cost me anything...
My most prized possessions would have to be...........my first edition copy of Moonwalk (his autobiography), my copy of Dancing the Dream, an autographed photo of Michael with the black panther that has an accompanying certificate of authenticity, and my giant 20X30 poster of Michael in his red and gold glitter stage costume with "the glove". He looks so handsome! Included on that poster is my favorite quote of his: "If you come into this world knowing you are loved, and leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with."
I also have a quilted wall hanging of a teddy bear that looks to be handmade. It has a certificate of authenticity as well, and came from Neverland. Not autographed or anything, but for me, the mere fact that it once was a part of Michael's belongings at Neverland is enough for me.
And my purse that has the famous Neverland gates featured on it along with my watch that has the same are both pretty special too. Obviously I've just gone CRAZY with memorabilia since he passed. I just can't seem to get enough. I've bought quite a bit of the stuff from Bravado.....that was meant for the concerts in London. Great stuff!
And I found a vinyl Thriller album on eBay...
I can't narrow it down any further. All of my stuff is special to me!
I think my photos from Neverland would have to be included as well. Great memories there....
My platinum dangerous framed vinyl
HOWEVER i would want to get some old rare things like from the 80's
My most precious possession is by far the signed hat on my picture.
I won it at a Jackson Fanday in 2005 in Holland.
A picture of it has featured on the MJJSOURCE.COM website at the time.
My dangerous tour programme. Its not rare or worth a lot but it means a lot to me!
just been the show room in ireland and have put a bid on one of michaels gloves.........dont know how im going too do but ill wait and see,,,,,,some gd stuff there,
