From June 25-27 the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will honor the life, music and legacy of two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Michael Jackson with a weekend of live music, programming and more.

This event will culminate with the annual Rock and Soul festival on Sunday, June 27.

In late October 2009, The GRAMMY Museum unveiled its special exhibit, Michael Jackson: A Musical Legacy. Residing on the Museum's fourth floor, the exhibit serves as a follow-up to the earlier Michael Jackson: HIStyle exhibit, which opened in February 2009, and the temporary memorial display, erected just after the King of Pop's passing.

for the Estate of Michael Jackson, John Branca and John McClain, and Sony Music
will continue the label's 30-year relationship with Michael Jackson and his
music with a landmark recording deal, it was announced today.  
 
With this new agreement, Sony Music's
Columbia Epic Label Group and Legacy Recordings will continue their term of
rights to his catalog and also create new projects for Michael Jackson

In this video artists, Akon, Jordin Sparks and Celine Dion talk about the recording of the new version "We Are The World", Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. Original collaborators, Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie decided to ask a new generation of artists to rerecord the song to benefit those in Haiti. The original "We Are The World" was recorded 25 years ago and was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie with Quincy Jones producing the recording. The original recording generated over $30 Million to help impoverished people in Africa.

Filipino, Philippines "Dancing Inmates" from Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a maximum security prison, were treated to a visit by Michael Jacksons long-time choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid to learn performances from Michael Jackson's This Is It.
