I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Michael Jackson was a man. Like you and me, he was born out of love and that love was carried deep within him until that sad day the world heard that he had gone to his beloved Neverland, one that was untouched by the scrutinies of an often hypocritical world.

Its obvious in his music that he truly loved it so much that, as Smokey Robinson said in his eulogy, "Michael had a lot of feeling and know".

Yup Smokey, thats for damn sure.

When i sit and listen to song after song after song, every pitch, every high note that Michael hits has some sort of feelng in it. It isnt just singing for Michael, its telling you a story so convincingly that he makes you cry, or dance. Sometimes what was happening to Michael the man found its way into Michaels songs, like "Leave me Alone" or "They dont care about us" and you cant help but agree and be angry at the same people his song is directed at. And then there are the songs that show Michael the unselfish and aware, like "Man in the Mirror" and "Heal the world". This is what, to me, made him so lovable; because he was so down to earth and understood the discrepancies of planet earth. He showed us that Yes, he is this mega MEGA superstar, but hes not immune to the many hungry people, and homeless, and when he sings these songs, hes just not SINGING it, hes telling you with such "feeling and know" that you know hes telling you the truth. Under all that glitz and glamour that the medium of television and media showed us, one of the accesses we, the fans, had to our beloved Michael Jackson, was a smart, endearing, gorgeous person who touched our hearts through that other medium that we were lucky enough to have access to, his music.

When he was accussed of those horrible things, i was amazed, truly amazed at how strong he was. Maybe, deep inside his beautiful soul, he was battling, but he showed us that he could do it. He could say silently, " Here i am. Michael Jackson. Shamone and lay it on me".

Michael, Ill always, ALWAYS be your fan. Loyal and true. Like your family and your children, ive got your back.

I love you, Michael Jackson. Thank you for giving us you for who you are.
