Well long story, as I said before I was about 8 or 9 when off the wall came out and my mother and I was in a store and I heard Don't stop till you get enough and I started snapping my fingers my mother told me I believe that's little michael jackson, I said oh the Jackson 5 My parents was really blues people but had 45 vinyls of Jackson 5 anyway, (which I still have) I talked my mother into taking me to the record store and me and my ponytails asked for that song but instead of giving me the 45 he gave me the album. I took one look and said this isn't little Michael Jackson and I immediately got my 1st crush that has spanned over 30yrs. I played and danced to that LP everyday and when I heard billiejean on the radio years later I went ballistic, I was right there to buy thriller and every other album and CD that has ever came out. In 1984 I had the privilege of seeing Michael Jackson on the victory tour, I had on the red beat it jacket, black pants that my mother altered so they would flood and I could only find brown penny loafers but I was ingenious I bought black shoe dye, MJ t-shirt and the glove and socks and get this,I had jheri curls and had my hair just like him with the baby hair slicked on both sides of my head, that was one of the highlights in my life. It was so much energy and when he put on a show you won't be disappointed. His dancing seems to defy the laws of gravity, the way he can glide across the floor without any effort at all and the voice is almost magical and a smile that will melt your heart. Well why i'm a fan, I was the only child and growing up he was my friend who kept me company for hours, and well into my adult life (besides my husband).
