Old facts about Michael
thanks to Deez for the Glenda tapes. I just realized a lot of things about Michael. Now I'm convinced he had lupus and vitiligo, and that disease (vitiligo) is actually the culprit why Michael never got intimate with anyone. He's ashamed of his "spots"... down there. At 33, he was still a virgin, never had any intimacy and had only considered Tatum O'Neil as his real relationship.
That leads me to thinking, if he didn't have any imperfection, would he be the greatest and most legendary figure of our time? Maybe if he didn't have vitiligo and got married early, he would have stopped making music and become busy with his family than with his craft. That's what I think. So his loneliness gave him so much time to create music and focus on other things in life -- children, earth, other issues. He was lonely, indeed. And looking at the whole picture, I think it was destiny. He was destined to be GREAT but his disease (vitiligo) was also a part of that destiny. It's like fate's way of making things happen, like bits and pieces sewn together so that one thing leads to another to fulfill a prophecy. Greatness came with a price, and his was loneliness. And being a huge musical icon while struggling with disability, Michael resembles the agony of Beethoven -- a great musician/conductor of his time who was surprisingly deaf. It's true what they say, no one is perfect and no one lives a perfect life.
I have also seen the Martin Bashir interview and saw his discolored fingerbeds...he did have a problem with pigmentation. After watching these links, I found out there are a number of things that I was wrong about. I was wrong to think that his skin was bleached, that he lost his "innocence" at 17 or at a young age(like most teenagrs do), and that he has had many relationships before. At first I couldn't understand why he was luring women with material things, because i thought it's the wrong motivation to begin with. but now I understand that he thinks it is his only way of making her fall madly in love with her, that is, to give her EVERYTHING, in hope that "she" will love him UNCONDITIONALLY... despit the spots. The problem was that, he didn't know where to find that someone, especially in his world where women are all godess of beauty and perfection and he was so afraid to be ridiculed for his flaws. Now I do believe that one of us fans could have been his ROMANTIC/SEXUAL soulmate (don't start philosophizing the word soulmate please), someone who is crazy about him despite his imperfections. although he mentioned in the conversation "not to love me for me", i think it's part of the package. because i instantly thought "but that's what i love about you, the genius in you, the artist in you, the eyes, etc.", "you know what, other people, the average people, always try to prove themselves to others so that they can get the attention and be loved, i.e., women dress up, stay sexy and beautiful so that men would fall for them; others aspire for achievements so that people will admire them ... so being who you are, Michael, is part of the package, and you're lucky to be who you are and where you are." but he was so protective...complex...egoistic in his search of that other half. he should have looked into his fans (if he had only seen what i've seen here, women are crazy about him and would do anything to be with him), lowered his standard a bit, and then maybe he'd find that someone who can love him unconditionally, and probably lived a simpler but HAPPIER life? oh well...
and lastly, about Joe Jackson, this phone conversation really changed my perception of him. although i won't go to calling him names and hating him and giving derrogatory remarks, but now i think of him as a low-life. how could he not show some self-respect, instill moral values in his kids and teach them right from wrong? instead of being a role model and a father-figure to his sons, he carelessly sent the wrong messages -- womanizing, TOLERATING indecent behavior of his sons, abusing them, and extorting them? how could he???? so primitive and boorish. but for Michael's sake, i'm gonna stop at that.

@annie -- "how fans would say they'll stick with him no matter what" -- i just believe (that one of his fans was his soulmate), that's all
"the reasons that you chose for breaking up with your ex-lover, would you ignore them in respect to Michael?" -- at this point, i don't wanna speak for the rest of the obssessed fans here (like myself), but the analogy is like this: some guys are smokers and there are girls who could take that, while other girls would dump a guy who smokes. or there are guys who are alcoholics or drug users, but there are girls who are also alcoholics/drug users and so they are the ones who could tolerate that kind of behavior and would go into a relationship with those drug addicts. it's about tolerance and compatibility. HOWEVER, there are some women who, even if they are the exact opposite of the guy they married, would stick around because of LOVE. So I am basing my opinion on what I have seen here -- the fans who ADORE Michael -- I think these fans are so obssessed with him and LOVE him so much so that if Michael jump off the cliff, these fans would follow. That's all I'm saying, that most of the femlae fans of Michael would do everything to make him happy...and with that concept, dumping Michael would be the last thing on their minds.
"why the exception?" -- again, like what i've been saying, it may be out LOVE (or maybe obssession); that's why i said "ask the women who have been married for 50 years", why did they choose to stand by their man? but if you're implying that these fans are obssessed because he's the "king of pop", he's special, etc., then let it be, it's part of the whole package! each of us had been mesmerized for one or more reasons, and whatever those reasons are, it's what made us obssessed/in love, it's what made us reach that point where we have become blind and just wanna follow our hearts. can you really question that? if you'd ask again, i'll refer you again to those married women for 50 years lol

glenda: there are many women (or people?) who care about you, Michael
mike: yeah but i don't love them. i never had a real relationship
glenda: how about Tate?
mike: yeah but we've never done it (or something like that). i've never done it (or something)
glenda: oh yeah?
mike: at 30...33...while my brothers are all married... (something like that?)
so that's how i got the impression that he's virgin at 33.

i listened to the glenda tapes, and i got the imppression that michael had a secret girlfriend, who i think was that girl called "shana", dont know wether i have missed some of the tapes, i looked at 4 of them.i dont
think he was a virgin til he was 33, i just have a feeling, frank casio who worked for michael as his close PA, for several years, wrote somthing on a site somewhere, (not sure which one), he was basically sick of people saying that michael was gay, so he gave a run down of michaels conquests, to prove that he wasnt gay at all,
frank said that michael lost his virginity to diana ross, when he was quite young in his early twenties i think. he said michael , didnt have sex with anyone for about 3 years and then had sex with another couple of girls, an acctress and a secretary, (shana)prob. he then met and married LMP,and frank said she was the only woman that he wanted for more than sex.
michael fell in love with LMP, and they kept trying for children but apparently lisa marie stayed on the pill without michael knowing, he was so upset. anyway he had a couple more sexual relationships i think and then he had a longer term relationship, which i asume was his nanny.

but i really do feel that michael kept alot of his sexual relationships quiet, he was a very private person, and only the closest people to him really know who he had in his life.

But that's the thing girl. You said it yourself, no one will really get to know all the flaws until marriage. That's why I'm questioning how fans would say they'll stick with him no matter what. I'm not married, but I've been in a couple of relationships. And they ended because there is just some crap I will not take from a guy. And I know fans have broke up with guys for certain reasons as well. So my question is, the reasons that you chose for breaking up with your ex-lover, would you ignore them in respect to Michael? For instance, if he had certain habits or aspects of his personality you didn't like, and Michael had the same unattractive habits, you would let Michael slide? If so, why the exception?

We don't even know all his flaws." -- are you married, annie? they say that when you get married, that's the only time you will know the person completely. and so, nobody (not even the women he was dating) knows all of his flaws until they marry him. so it doesn't matter if it were a fan or some celebrity, both women would start at the same level of knowing him.
"Any other guy you would ditch if he had certain flaws, but because he's Michael Jackson, there's an exception?" -- have you seen how obssessed the fans here are? that is what i'm talking about! you ask them if they will ditch Michael. ask the older women, those who have been married for 50 years or so, why they didn't ditch their husbands despite their flaws -- that's where you can get the answer for your question.
Skin disorders can be disfiguring both physically and psychologically. I suffered from one and it made me very self-conscious to the point where I would avoid any type of social interractions. So in short, I can def understand if Michael was hesitant to get close with someone. Although, I can't understand why he would be "ashamed of his "spots"... down there." I mean, not to sound too X-rated, but females don't care how a guy's genitals looks. We care about the size and the performance.
I know you don't want to be lectured on the psychological aspects of a soulmate, so I'll just disagree with the notion that one of his fans could have been his soulmate for now. I have to side with Michael when he says that they won't love him for who he is. The fans get caught up in his messages and music and they fall in love with all the GOOD. But Michael was not perfect, and I think that's why he said they wouldn't fall in love with all of him, meaning the GOOD and the BAD. We look at him as a humanitarian and think that's it and he's such an angel. Michael wasn't trying to be with someone who thought he was perfection or angelic. Because then he would have to live up to their expectations. He probably wasn't a romantic guy at all, and he probably would never put his lady first. Fans say they would accept him flaws and all. But how? We don't even know all his flaws. Any other guy you would ditch if he had certain flaws, but because he's Michael Jackson, there's an exception?
so sad....but he was great and that what matters most...i kinda agree with that statement of mj having high standard with women...look at the women he admired.. liz taylor, brooke shields etc..those are very lovely women.. gosh..

thank you for a very heart-felt reply.
I think the most important thing is that Michael was human. I really can't imagine walking out of my house and everyone is running trying to grab or talk to me. Cameras in my face every time i move, constantly trying to figure me out or judging every move i made, thinking they know me or about me because they seen me with someone or doing something, hearing a story about me and twisting and turning it into a nightmare really.
Your right though, greatness does come with a price, a huge price.......
There is a saying....'To whom much is given, much is expected'......
Michael had to pay that price, there was more expected of him than the average man could give, that is what made him great and to think he had to give this since he was a child.........

I listened to an interview between a man from TMZ and Dr.Arnold Klein. It was a hour and a half long. The dr talks about different things in Michael's life. I am kind of feeling the dr, he sounds very educated and knowledgeable. If you haven't listened to it, check it out.
One of the things he speaks about is Michael's lupis.....
Micheal spoke many times in interviews about when he was touring with his brothers in his younger days and the brothers had so many girls, there were times his brothers would have sex while in the room where Michael was sleeping or he could hear them in another room. I personally feel as though this effected him in a different way, He was different and i think getting that impression of sex at such a young age effected him as he got older.
I think everything that Michael went thru in his life is what made him who he was. His talent was one thing, but then the trial and the skin changes, and then when he showed his baby to his fans over the balcony, kind of made him more to talk about. People love gossip, love to have something juicy to stir up and talk about, all of these things made him even more to the world.
