I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Michael is a true genius, in every shape and form. A talented artist - dancer, singer, composer and even fine artist. A philanthropist - creating 'We Are The World' and the 'Heal The World' foundation; he is also in the Guiness Book of World Records for the artist who supports the most charitable institutions. I mean, even in his will, part of the money that is going to the MJ Trust is going to charity. We all already know that he broke all boundaries - whether from the best selling album of all time, the best selling multiple disc album of all time, having the one and only song to debut in #1, to the most Grammy Awards won in one night, to breaking racial barriers in MTV. Michael did it all. He continuously strived for excellence, and always delivered.

But aside from all of that - he was real. I feel like I know him, even though I've never met him. I feel connected to him. He is inspiring and uplifting. And even with all his accomplishments, like being a Grammy Legend, and winning worldwide awards, and setting recording history - he remains shy and humble. He is the epitome of greatness, in every sense of the word. He was good, kind, gentle and honest. He was a great human being, and I can only wish and aspire to be more like him.

I love you, Michael. I have been so fortunate to have grown up listening to your music. Thank you for that. I don't think I would be the same without you. I will be forever heartbroken. There's a pain that won't, and probably will never go away. You'll always be in my heart. Your legacy will live on. I will love you and miss you... forever.
