Hello Everyone. My name is Telena Rogers and I reside in Portland, Oregon. Born and raised there. I've been a Michael Jackson fan since I was really little. I was born when Thriller was released, so I was sucked in at birth! lol. I was blessed to meet Michael in 2005 during the trial on March 29th, @ 3:30pm. He gave me a kiss on my forehead, and also allowed me and about 30 other fans into his house a few days later. Have You Met Michael?
I met Michael Jackson on March 29th, 2005 @ 3:30 pm. He beckoned for me to approach his car to meet him, and I almost freaked out!!! I was able to hold his hand, give him a hug, get his autograph, and he voluntairly gave me a kiss!! whew!! I met his parents also, and took a tour of Neverland on April 4th 2005.

What's a way you show your Love for Michael?
I went to Santa Maria for two weeks to support him during his trial, and I make it know everywhere I go that I am a proud Michael Jackson fan, and I have nothing to apologize for.

Someone who cares so much about other people’s needs,

Going down to Santa Maria to support Michael for two weeks (from March-28th-April 9th 2005)was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Of course I did not enjoy seeing Michael fragile, and hurting, but I was glad to be able to join many other fans to support him.
Michelle and I arrived to Santa Barbara around 3am on March 28th 2005 after a 14 hour drive! We got dressed, and headed to the courthouse a couple of hours later.
During the ticket raffle that morning, my number was called. Less than 24 hours in Santa Maria and I'm gonna be in the same room with Michael Jackson for hours!!!!!! I couldn't believe it.
He was really tall when he entered the courtroom, and the room would immediately grow quiet. We were not allowed to talk to the Jackson family of course, so every hearing, we (the fans) anticipated Mrs. Katherine Jackson saying "good morning" to us. In unison, we would all reply with, "GOOD MORNING!"
Hearing different people approach the stand and lie... MAN, I wanted to stand and yell at every last one of them. It was very hard to sit through (I got to sit through 4 court sessions). I couldn't imagine how
Michael's family felt.
The next day (March 29th @ 3:30pm), I Met Michael
Jackson. Man, I couldn't believe it. Until this day, I truly believe that GLEN, Kerry, Keith, or Bashir
(Michael's daily court entourage) put in the good word for me because of my persistency. Very often, I would ask GLEN to tell Michael that I really wanted to meet him. "My name is TELENA ROGERS" I would say. He told me to come up to that ranch a particular day, but
I complained about the large crowd of (sometimes selfish) fans that prevented me from meeting him. But he again said, "You gotta come up to the ranch." So,
Michelle and I did just that, and I met him that day!
I was filming for about 5 minutes when I suddenly realized, "why in the hell am I not trying to make it up toward the car to meet this man?" I handed my camcorder to my friend, and followed this OPEN PATH to the front of the line. No one even bothered to jump in front of me, I simply WALKED TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE.
God blessed me because I had prayed really hard.
I stood there quietly, and patiently waiting to be called up to Michael's SUV. I was holding a magazine with pictures of Michael in it that I wanted him to sign. SO, when I became impatient, I asked Kerry (?) to give Michael my magazine to sign. He told me to "just hold on". This is another reason why I think GLEN put in the good word for me. Finally it happened. Michael looked my direction as I starred at him, not budging, and he beckoned (with his finger) for me approach his car. I walked quickly to the car, and stepped onto the bumper of the car so that I could be as close to him as possible. Once to the car, I held his hand because
It seemed like the most natural thing to do at the moment. This is where it all fell apart for me at; I really don't remember what I said, how I said it, and how I was looking. I was so nervous and star struck!!
I do remember saying hi to his parents in the front seat, and saying “Michael here's a gift for you" and sat it next to him. I also remember being so afraid to ask him for a hug, but I did. "Michael, can I reach in and give you a hug before you leave?" "Yeah, sure", was Michael's reply. He signed my magazine, while I assured Kerry (?), "Michael said I could give him a hug." I didn't want him to think I was a crazed fan climbing into Michael's SUV to attack him!! Michael reached his left arm out, as I reached my right arm into the SUV to get my hug. I told him thank you and I loved him. As I lifted away from him, he surprised me by voluntarily giving me a kiss on my forehead!! Man,
I didn't know what to do. I was so happy. Thank you
Michael.

On April 4th 2005, a group of fans were invited into
Neverland, while Michael was there, hiding in the closet and laughing at us!!!!!! I couldn't believe it.
I had been in California for exactly one week and I had been in the court sessions, met Michael, and now
I'm in his house, how much better could it get!!!
Well, I'll tell you: I met Joseph and Katherine Jackson during my visit @ Neverland. Mrs. Jackson reminded me so much of one of my grandmothers back in
Oregon. She cried as a line of fans, including myself, approached her one by one and gave her a hug and encouraging words. It was amazing.
Then there was Mr. Joseph Jackson, leading the crew of fans along with Majestic Magnificent. I shook his hand and said, "Hi Mr. Jackson". He replied with, "How you doin'". (LOL). I said fine (or good) and continued on with my tour. The part I liked the most was Michael's family tree he has built into the ground inside (one of) his living room(s). I stood there for awhile and analyzed what I was seeing: Prince Scruse, Samuel
Jackson....
Then there was the game room! I became a big kid in there!! I had a huge ball of gum in my mouth (that I got for free out of one of Michael's gumball machines), and I was playing the game Moonwalk. It brought back memories of my childhood, as I used to play that game often.
As we left the game room, Michael comes out with all three of his children dressed like little princes and a princess! They all waved at us, as I starred in disbelief. They jumped up and down and waved, and we did the same. I couldn't stop laughing. Then Michael went over to this shed and pulled out boxes of his newly released box set. Joseph Jackson and some of
Michael's bodyguards handed them to us. I was so thankful. I SO DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!! The place was beautiful, and one of my favorite songs was playing: Beethoven's Fur Elise.
My 2nd to last day there (April 8th), I ran outside the court hearing to wave to Michael leaving to go home. I think his bodyguards were laughing at us (the fans) because we were out of breath. I waved and yelled bye to Michael and his family. I screamed " Hi Tito", and Tito said hi back. Katherine Jackson smiled at me. They were stuck at a red light so I was able to say a lot of things and wave for awhile. That was the last encounter I had with Michael, and that was around 1:30pm.
