ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Andrea Gingins, and i live
in Argentina, in San Martin de los Andes, Neuquén province. I follow Mjj since i was 8 years old, i grew up with his music. Now i’m 26. This is the first time of my life that i can be member and have friends to share everything about our King. One of my dream like everybody is to meet him in person, but i know is very difficult to be with him, so i start to cry because i live so far away and i don’t know if i’ll have time to meet him, due to my illness. Let me share this words with you…and of course with You Michael
I grew up as a normal person i studied piano and english, but at the age of 15, my skin start to change, at first, the doctor says that the the pain i had in my body was causes by rheumatoid artritis but in the year 2000, the doctors confirmed, that i have a disease call SCLERODERMA.
What is this?- In the twentieth Century, reports suggested that this skin disorder was not only confined to the skin, but was a systemic disorder and could affect numerous internal organs. When i heard this my World falled down. What causes Scleroderma?- No one knows the answer, but there are many theories being studied which involve different Systems of the body: the immune system, the vascular system and connective tissue metabolism. All these are know to play a part in the disease mechanisms. The appearance of Scleroderma in several members of a family has been cited, but the hereditary aspect has not been fully defined. Who gets it- The disease is found in all countries and ethnic groups, with patients ranking from infants to the elderly. Symptoms usually appears between the ages of 30 to 50 and childhood scleroderma is usually localized form. I know estimates of frecuency in the United States suggest over 300.000 people with this multi-faceted disease. Because many cases go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, it is difficult to obtain an exact figure. Symptoms –Two major problems are decreased circulation and increased production of connective tissue. For this reason, scleroderma may be defined as a disease complex of 1) vascular (blood vessels changes) 2) fibrosis an abnormal increase in the amount of collagenous connective tissue in an organ, 3) inflammation, that to varying degress involves the skin and visceral (internal organs), and 4) Atrophy (loss of normal functioning tissue). At first, scleroderma can be difficult to diagnose. Arthritic-like symptoms may appears, and rheumatoid artritis, lupus, erythematous, etc. Then: weakness, weight loss, fatigue, vague muscle pain, Joint or bone aching, altered pigmentation (Light/dark decoloration of the skin) unexplained swelling, thickening of the skin, shortness of breath, swallowing dificulties etc.
What can be done?- Unfortunately there is not yet any know therapy that will stop or reverse the progressive scleroderma. Many different medication and therapies have been tried, some of these have been met with inicial hope and enthusiasm by doctor and patient, but so far none has led to a permanente cure of the disease. The cure is not exsist yet. For many this will be a chronic and possibly disabling illness, althoug there are excepcional records of remission alter 5 or 10 years. The patient must face the fact that he is dealing with a long-term disorder. Many fundamental questions go unanswered, as the disease varies from sclerosis of a small bito f skin, to overwhelming systemic reactions which can result in death. Therapies and medications range from the prescriptions of creams and emollients for relief of skin problems.
TO MICHAEL: i can understand you ill, i know is different than mine, but we share some symptoms, and is very hard to explain what we feels inside, the medications can result strong for our bodys and other organs. Emotional our skin is like a protection , but in this cases when is damage, we have to go through a lot of situations and things that problably people in some aspects can’t understand.
I’ve been following you, every day of my life, every minute, your days of glory, your problems in all aspects, your kids, they are beatiful like you, everything, thats why i need to say to you:….IS THERE A CHANCE FOR ME IN YOUR HEART PLEASE?
For me, you ‘ve been like an angel, in all my situations, i don’t know you, but you has giving me the strength to keep going….
Your love is magical, that’s how i feel inside, from the bottom of my heart, i know that everything is possible if GOD is on my side, so i’ll pray silentry 4 y and me…and my dream. You’re my dream, then comes my health.
My life has been difficult.
Well, michael thanks for given me the chance to express myself with you and the rest of the people here. I hope this information be important for you, to know about strange disease that appears every day.
TO THE FANS: I hope this info about Scleroderma be important to open know your knowledge. Thanks for read it.Bless you all.
