I love and respect Michael, but not just because he has talents beyond believe never seen by any other performer in the world or because he has the voice of an angel, but because as a person, he deserves all the respect and love. He grew up not like most people have that when young, had the opportunity to enjoy life and play with friends their age like any normal child. While most kids played and had fun, Michael as a child worked very hard, and so intense was his work that created who he is now. People mostly look at him as an incredibly gifted man, but if they would look at the person rather than just the star, we all, that includes anybody with a beating heart (fan or non-fan) would feel something much deeper than just admiration toward an artist, but respect, for he is a selfless humanitarian. He has done visits to orphanages as much as he has done concerts; he is indeed the biggest philanthropist this so-call entertainment world has ever seen, donating as much as 300 million dollars. When he was a boy he used to tell his mother while watching children from Africa on T.V that one day he would help. (Not many kids at that age care about other's pain and suffering) that's just who he is, apart from fame. Michael's tours are very exhausting, he does not get the rest or the sleep needed for such hard work, there are long hours of arduous rehearsals so that his fans be thrilled with his work. While touring he visits children that have terminal illness because to those kids seeing Michael is the biggest gift they can ever have. He takes trucks loaded with toys and presents to them, he does all of this without expecting anything in return, not to wave a flag, but from the bottom of his heart. Whereas other singers/actors go on tour or not, they certainly don’t go through this much trouble, let alone donate all the money from any exhausting tour as difficult and time consuming they are. When he was in his twenties (most people at that age have a liking for drugs mainly night life, clubs) especially in the (entertaining business). Michael was more of a staying home kind of guy, and always liked quiet tranquil life which is very hard because he is not just any man, but a very famous one. Even though he had such stardom since very young, he always knew how to prioritize between real and fribulous things in life. This is the main reason why I love him as a person. If he wasn’t all this I would just give recognition to his marvelous talent but that would be all. Being incredibly skilled at one job does not give an individual qualities that can only come from the heart. Superstardom did not change this wonderful man, he has very strong faith in God, he is humble (which is incredibly rare to see these days with people that aren’t even 2% as famous as he is or that haven’t even accomplish 0.5% of what he has) yet he is so simple in his taste. He likes animals seeing poor people and children happy, loves to watch cartoons and to have fun just like a kid: >Be childlike not childish. This goes beyond him being an impeccable artist. This has to do with having a heart so big it does not fit in his chest. If this world had more people like him it wouldn’t be as bitter and cold. Michael and Princess Diana (both humanitarians) were good friends, and it is indignant to see how both were ruined by the cruel world of the press, it seems as if the people that work for the media are bizarre. As if being good to them is being weird or a freak, it just doesn’t make any sense. I feel nothing but pity for such people, because you have to be real miserable in life to make a living out of writing and saying untrue and hurtful things about a person that has given so much. The day they get out of their artificial little world and feel the meaning of compassion and see how people starve every day all over the world, and donate their time and money for those people in need, then that day I will have respect for them.
Just a thought from my part: Finding a needle in a haystack: is to become the most famous man on earth yet stay so humble and not change, yes there are many good people out there, but would they stay the same in their firm modest believes if they were to reach such a high scale in fame and recognition? That’s how we know when a person is good from the heart.
