My biggest memory growing up with MJ....
I remember when the thriller album was realeased in 1982 i was four years old. My mom purchased the album for herself; it was the 1st time I've heard something other than reggae music specifically Bob Marley having two parents from Jamaica West Indies. Well we both loved every song on the thriller album. Two months late christmas of that year I received one of the best gifts a child loving music could ever; I received a fisher price childs record player & my very own copy of thriller. Oh how I loved that present. I played this album on that fisher price record player for 9 years til age 13 of coarse i out grew the player & it broke & over the years the album obtained a few scratches. I still kept the album & purchased the cassette with my own chore money to use with a new walkman I recently got as a present. A year later when I discovered compact discs today known as cd's it was repurchased in that form & owned ever since. A total of three thriller albums plus the 1 my mother & every1 in my countless family members. Of coarse I own of mj albums such as the jacksons 5 christmas album, off the wall, bad, dangerous, history (which is really my moms but I claim ownership as well (laughs) & the album I feel along with michael that did'nt get the proper promotion it deserved invincible which in my eyes is a great album as well despite what some music critics may say I respect everyones opinion & an opinion it was. I followed & loved michael as a music artist ever since age four. Although I never knew him personally however through the years I always loved him as a individual despite his highly publicized personal life. Michael reminds me alot of myself with his personality being the shy & quiet type as myself. My quote on michaels publicized personal life is that; "It's in his nature to be human" & it's in everyones to be. I definately respected & appreciated his craft. I will surely miss his craftmanship with music in the flesh; like the song says; "gone to soon" & that he was. God always bless you michael joseph jackson also know to me as MJ was what I liked to call him as a child & still do today you have a beautiful family that will definately miss you 4 ever along with countless friends & fans such as myself that will miss you always. Your music is bonded to my itunes libruary & three ipods & your legacy will forever live on. I love you MJ one of your biggest fan since 1982 tynee xoxo
