I became a fan after MJ passed. My mom brought him around. I first thought "Oh gawd another old dumb singer to ruin every day and car ride!!!" I hated his guts I couldn't stand his music!
But as fast as I had rejected him, I quickly had a change in heart. There was no escaping it anyway so I had to deal with it. I soon started to LOVE his music, starting with the song "You are not alone" then I heard "Thriller and liked his music even more! soon I was hoocked! Before I knew it all I listened to was Michael Jackson! When me and my mom drive somewhere we talk about the albums as if they were really him! "Mom you brought Michael with you right?" "Yes! how could we forget Michael!" "Just checking!" That is just one example! Plus now we have music videos, pictures, magazenes, posters, movies, albums! heck I've even created animations about him! I am obsessed!
But you don;t have to like MJ personally to like him. Just listen to his music! Trust me. I went from listening to Japanese death metal to Michael Jackson ONLY!!! Once you go to MJ you never go back! I love his music so much I can't choose a favorite song let alone a favorite album!!
MJ is The greatest entertainer ever! you can't get any better than that!!!
