I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... because, Michael is simply ONE OF A KIND! and above all Michael's true genius, obvious artistic talent and constant hard work and efforts as a humanitarian, above his presence, his spirit and everything else related to him - he had and has the power to change.... to change that something into that someone - with a little extra help making it all easier, without asking anything back. People like Michael are very rare and very hard to find! Michael emanates huge, huge amounts of energy. Lots and lots of positive energy. Michael has the special gift to spread the LOVE. Am one of the people that grew up always longing for something that/someone who - was taken away from me in a tragic way, when I was very llittle. Michael has been a role model to me since I was 10 years old (when I've discovered him) and I don't honestly know how my life would've turned so far without Michael! I remember writing to MJ lots of letters (that never got sent) and filling up my scrap book and listening to his music and trying to copy his dance moves - I know, me and the rest of the world were doing so! remember I've made a promise to myself when I'grow up to be as hard working and succesfull as MJ and also made a promise to myself to go and meet MJ and really wanted to talk to him - was trying to mould myself into a perfect person as I thought you have to be in order to have any chance to sit anywhere near MJ - you must be really special and defo you gotta be perfect.... very silly and naive for that age... even slept without a pillow under my head as I thought my spine wont grow perfectly straight (everyone in the house thought I was mad), use to excersise on daily basis trying to get close to be that perfect dancer - who knew - maybe one day MJ needed new people in his dance team lol, going back now it all seams so funny... 20 years on the row and hit me all back while watching TII, those lucky guys, MJ's new dancers - was so glad for them and perfectly understand how honoured and grateful they must feel, it's one in a lifetime chance to get to work so close to the person you've worshiped all your life.
In the end I believe that Michael is the messenger and his message and vibes and love makes us all believe in ourselves, gives us hope, inspires us and most important makes us see who we really are and reminds us of the purpose of our journey, here in this life on this planet.
