Update Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour 2012: Zitat aus der WAZ von Monika Idems aus einem Artikel über das Konzert von Bryan Adams Mitte März in Köln, das passender nicht sein kann: Konzertkarten sind ja eigentlich Reisetickets. Mindestens für einen kurzen Ausflug aus dem Alltag, oft für eine ausgewachsene Zeitreise .... Wer also eine Karte für Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World kauft, begibt sich auf eine Zeitreise. Ja, wohin?

Michael Jackson The Experience HD-App für das iPad: Rechtzeitig zum Start des neuen iPad von Apple, der Einfachheit halber hier iPad3 genannt, kündigte Ubisoft am 8. März 2012 drei neue Songs von Michael Jackson für das iPad in einer brandaktuellen App an, die als Download angeboten wird. Diese drei neuen Lieder sind Thriller, Remember the Time und Rock With You von Michael Jackson.

Pourquoi je suis fan

I'm a fan because Michael Jackson is the greatest artist of our times. He was perfect and had a variety of talents and a great heart: a musician, dancer, choreographer, composer, poet, film producer, multi media art director, benefactor and designer (see my photo I' ve choosen: It is Peter Pan drawn by Michael 1999 - I found this photo on ebay last month). I adore him as a dancer becuase he revoltes the dancing rapports all over the world. Though I' m not young anymore and can't dance like before I can feel his music in my legs, my blood and my heart. For me his music has this physical dimension.

My parents owned a coffee shop in a little town near the boundry to the Netherlands. Every day radio was playing. So I grew up with the songs of Michael and the "Jackson Five". His songs of the period 1972 - 1981 seem to me like familiar friends.

I missed every chance to see him live: 1988 und 1992 in Berlin (I remember the tour poster which were hanging all over Berlin West!) and 1997 in Cologne / Munich. I was on projects overseas (Mexico), I had had my trials for my thesis, I lived in Salzburg (Austria) or was in Spain on holidays...

It was 1995 Michael presented his "Earth Song" in the German TV-Show "Wetten dass". My interest on Michael Jackson revived. I realized that a famous singer made an environmental theme to a song for the first time. My next favourite video and song of Michael Jackson is "Ghosts" - seem to me a little bit autobiographical. I'm working for a French Movie star, who was be loved by generations of German people who saw him playing the hero role of a Red Indian chief in movies and open-air stages from 1960 - 1990. They met eachother 1997 on the flight to the 50th. Film-Festival of Cannes where the movie "Ghosts" had its start for Europe. "Gone too soon" is a special song which describes emotions which I know from my charity work for dying people as death-attendant (hospice).

So, his music and dancing are parts of my private biography, though I' ve never met Michael Jackson. Since I'm writing comments on michaeljackson.com/de I have a lot of friends all over the world. Thank you, Michael!
