CAPTAIN EO TO RETURN TO DISNEYLAND IN JANUARY 2010. OFFICIAL ANNOUNCMENT WILL BE MADE 9/10
Captain EO has now received the green light to return to Tomorrowland, but the timing was too tight to make it by HalloweenTime. Hooter and the gang will now land at Disneyland this January to boost winter attendance, with the official announcement coming from Jay Rasulo at the D23 Expo
THIS IS SO EXCITING, I CANT WAIT TO GO. DISNEYLAND, HERE I COME!!

I went to see Cap EO on June 26th, I spent the whole day riding most of MJ favorite rides, it was wonderful!!

i dont care how long i wait in line but im so there. i remember seeing this when i was 6. yay thanks u disney i love u
the only thing I'm worried about are detractors and those so-called "conservative/concerned" parents pulling it down as soon as they start showing it because it might cause an "emotional trauma" to kids. You know how these f****ers think and work and I bet your a** they won't let this just pass by.

Thank you for sharing this info, Rob3GD. I remember seeing a link online about Disney being persuaded by many Michael Jackson fans with their enthusiasm about bringing "Captain EO" back. It makes good marketing and money sense, if you'll pardon me for being blunt. Give the fans what they want, and you'll make money. I'm looking forward to making the trip to see "Captain EO" when it come out again! Smart move on Disney's part!

YAY!!! A few weeks ago the subject came up, and I ended up watching it on youtube. It brought back memories cuz I got to see it in person at Disneyland back when....I'm so pleased they're doing this. It was the first 3D movie I saw. Everyone was reaching over their heads trying to grab the furry friend. It was so much fun. Michael glowed. The audience loved it. Now a new generation can share in on it too. I'm so happy with this decision.

i hope that really happens, i was just listening to 'we are here to change the world' and remembering being 10 y/o at epcot the month after it debuted and waiting in line with my mom for an hour to see the it...
