I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... his talent was unmatched and his generosity set a precedent for other entertainers to strive for, but none have yet matched... He was beautiful in everyway, inside and out.

There was no other entertainer like him... with his unique blend of enormous talent, sensitivity, and heart! There was something magical about him - his lyrics, rhythms, and on-stage presence just grabbed you. When he danced, YOU wanted to dance, and when he cried, you wanted to put your arms around him and tell him things would be alright. His emotional delivery made you one with him. He always gave his all - on stage and off.

And what REALLY endeared him to me forever was his constant humanitarian message and truly generous efforts to those in need. His generous spirit made him truly special. He cared about us all, even when the world turned its back on him.

I've been his fan since I was 8 and he was 10. I grew up, in essence, with him, and he truly rocked my world! He has been my mentor for so very long...

I never dreamed you would be gone so soon my love...

The world has lost its brightest beacon of light, and the world seems a gloomier place... but I am sure Heaven must be absolutely aglow...
