Michael Jackson Feeling Screwed?
I certainly understand the disappointment of everyone effected by the reschedules!
I can understand the frustration over the inconvenience this will cause!
The idea of believing you were only down to weeks and seeing that move up to months is sucky!!!
I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE ATTACKS ON MICHAEL. HE DID NOT DO THIS TO HURT YOU!!!!
Did we all think 50 shows would go off without a hitch? The probability was always 100% that some of us were going to end up disappointed due to reschedule or cancellation. People get sick, have injuries, and schedule conflicts all the time. And before it's over with more of us may find ourselves in this very situation.
Please people, taking this so personally is a little... well... weird. But if you are unhappy, by all means, take your ball and go home. It's your money and you should be 100% satisfied. I just don't know what all the cursing and name calling is about. With "fans" like those, who needs the tabloids?

I am not being sarcastic but I understand you are angry and thus reading it that way.
FYI, I got the email and I'm fully aware of what my options are here. I don't need you to tell me I can get a full refund. As for spending my money where I don't believe I am getting a good service, normally I wouldn't dream of it. I'm very angry right now and your comments are not helpful.
Maybe you should try showing a bit more support to other fans instead of posting sarcastic remarks.
@PamA: thought i'd let u know one ur comments is on the BBC website.
This is all v. annoying but i admit EVERYONE wanted early dates...i know people who got up as early as me-love MJ music as much as me-but didn't get the first shows. Plently of 'casual' fans are inconvenienced...although I'm hardcore.
A part of me thinks 5 days extra prep is a joke but I know the choreography for the Bad music video was completed over 2 days so maybe alot can happen in that time. I feel like I'm clutching to straws. But even if that is the real reason MJ has proven himself to be a perfectionist to the point of ruthless. His show better be worth it.
I understand, my standards and tolerance for excuses are a little lower. Again, it is certainly your prerogative to take a refund. Others have stated that TM and Viagogo are offering them in full. You should not spend your money where you believe you are not getting good service.
I'm a bit confused as to what the 02 and Ticketmaster have to do with the cancellations, other than delivering the bad news? Why is it their fault?
Did we all think 50 shows would go off without a hitch?
No. Not for a minute. But they haven't even gone off yet have they?
<>The probability was always 100% that some of us were going to end up disappointed due to reschedule or cancellation.
True.
People get sick, have injuries, and schedule conflicts all the time.
But they don't inconvenience 80,000 people to allow more time for preparation. Sorry but this is not a good enough excuse.
That looks to be a typo on the listing that is further down. July 14 is rescheduled to March 6, 2010
The waiting is the worst! The paying to reschedule is pretty sucky too! I support everyone who's having to make sacrifices here, while staying calm about it and I am confident those March shows will be over the top with Michael making it up to you guys.
why, in this websites' official announcement, is the 14th of July still showing as a show date?
There are some positives to this as well...it looks like there will be more tickets available for true fans...come on lets just be happy campers again
We will all see MJ at some point...
He is worth the wait:)
i realise the concerts were never going to go off without a hitch but making us wait like 10 extra months? its too long, i wouldnt mind as much if i had to wait till like august or something or even after all the september dats are finished
I have resheduled my hotel stay and lost about £350 in travel, but at least I have a BK101 seat in March and can see him in BK A2 in Sept.
I'm one of those affected. I was goin on 10th july now it's 1st march Micheal isn't the one to blame its the O2 and ticketmaster who are to blame. This was going to be a birthday present for my daughter who turns 9yrs old in july as well as me forefilling a life long ambition and seeing the king of pop in concert. When i told my daughter she sobbed her heart out she was so looking forward to seeing him. The only word i can say is devastated. I rang ticketmaster and asked them why they cant put all the shows back 5 days all they said is "it's not as easy as that!" rubbish typical ticketmaster and O2 screw up
Have just checked the official announcement on this website and they are still showing the 14th of July as a show date. Does that mean I have been worrying about nothing.
I had tickets for the 14th of July and have now had to tell my 2 children aged 13 and 10 that they now have to wait nine months to see him. It was going to be my little boy's first concert and he has been so excited counting the days down, now he has 9 months to count. Fingers crossed Michael can last 9 months and his concerts will be as good at the end as they will be at the beginning. I think I would have rather taken my chances and seen the concert, with a few lightbulbs missing, or whatever other technical difficulty has arisen, rather than at the end when he will possibly be tired and worn out.
There is a petition to sign on another thread, everyone affected please sign, it may make a difference!
NO! July 26 is the same. Here is the link:

has my date been changed? the 26th july???? i havnt had any email or anything!!!!! HEEEELLLLLP!!! Message me please
exactly.
LOL!!! I don't think it's YOU having the "off day"
Why would someone buy tickets to travel half way round the world to see a guy they clearly hate, thats dumb if you ask me.
There are a lot of dissapointed people who genuinely love MJ, but buying tix to see someone you think is a sh** and then screaming about a date change is just loonytunes.
You're getting that too? I thought maybe it was just me having an off day.
Wow, this place is "off the hook" I'm sorry, I continue to be amazed at the vitriol.

Sign this and lets hope the promoters schedule it a bit earlier!
Atleast the 14th of July show, if theres a show on the 13th WHY NOT on the 14th?

Grow up.
Can you tone it down, there are children on these forums!
Seriously stop acting dumb I mean seriously SHUT UP THIS IS A FAN SITE NOT A HATE SITE SO STOP YOUR BAD TALKING. : ) not talking abbout all of you just a bit. : )
"Notice the only ones staying calm and keeping the bulls*** michael faith alive are those of u whose shows aint bin cancelled"
First, none of the shows have been cancelled, just rescheduled.
Secnd, mine have been rescheduled. I was supposed to go on the 14th. Now I'm going to the last show. Obviously I am annoyed but I very much doubt it is Michaels fault so I don't see why everyone is bad mouthing him.
I'm probably going to get abuse fo saying this, but to the people who would rather cancel their ckets than wait an extra 8 months cant be very good fans. I would much rather wait 8 months tosee him than never see him at all.
Well, I don't know about the self-rightiousness... if that is my tone, it's not my intent. I am just bewildered to see the out and out hate here. The disappointment, I completely get...
I apologize for my aweful spelling in the last post, this keyboard sucks & likes to miss out letters/write letters in a slightly ifferent order to what I typed them in ^ ^
I am incredibly irritated that I have to wait an extra 8 months but I'm glad I get the chance to see him at all.
I don't really understand the changes though. I don't see how making the opening night 5 days later is really guna make any difference. & I don't really think it's fair making the first fw shows become the last. I can understand why they didn't just move all the show forward 5 days though, because that would inconvenience a lot more people that just changing 3 dates. I do, however, think that there should be some kinda of compensation to the fans who have been recheduled to March beacuse that is a big change.
I'm trying to look on the bright side though. I'm now going to see his last show in London & possibly (but probably not) ever. Since it's the last show there may be small things that are different from the other shows.
I don't think it's fair people badmouthing Michael for this. I very much doubt he had any say in the decision to reschedule.
